Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE
Qualification and Experience Required:
- University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
- 10 - 15 years of project and site work experience in water process plant or power generation / international projects.
- Would have preferably worked as a Contractor in a senior project management/site position.
- A PMP® certificate is a plus.
- Would preferably hold recognized H&S qualification (NEBOSH general certificate or similar).
- Experience in the Middle East is a plus.
- Proven experience leading complex construction activities on a challenging HSSE environment.
Technology
- Good knowledge of appropriate Power Plant / SWRO process technology is a plus
- At ease with digital working environment.

- Leads from the Owner's side the plant construction with the assistance of the Owner's Engineer (OE) to ensure that it is performed properly in terms of safety, quality, schedule, and budget in line with the EPC Contract and without lost time accidents, severe injuries and/or fatalities.

- Overall construction management and control.
- Monitor contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities.

- Minimum 20 years' experience in Construction of Infrastructure projects, with extensive experience in dealing with local authorities in Abu Dhabi (minimum 5 years).
- Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors.
- Have a proven track record as a Construction Manager on any related projects with large MEP Infrastructure scopes.
- Required to have a strong technical background in MEP projects and should have at least 2 full life cycle project experience working on a Project Management team.
- Management of Inspections, Mockups, Prototypes, samples, and quality benchmarking.
- Progressive verification of the works to Contract specifications, Drawings, and approved mock-ups.
- Management of construction submittal and RFI review and responses process.
- Review Main Contractors reports (daily / weekly / monthly), technical and Progress.
- Proposing a method of construction to support the Main Contractor.
- Familiar will local authority's requirements and procedures.
