Job Description

Senior Piping Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support in daily construction/modification site activities in piping & equipment installation works related to onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities in accordance with established industrial codes, contractual agreements, and ADNOC GAS quality and HSSE standards to support successful project completion.

Job Overview:

  • Prepare and review construction related method statements, work instructions, material approval requests, and risk mitigation procedures prior to forwarding for approval.
  • Provide input into construction completion dossiers. Monitor quality and performance (QA/QC) of works carried out by contractors/subcontractors to validate adherence to defined quality guidelines as per ADNOC GAS standards.
  • Participate in regular Site Progress Meetings with construction contractors and clients to review progress and performance. Identify and highlight technical and constructability issues and raise them with the Line Manager and construction contractors' site supervisors for action.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring contract and commercial management compliance across assigned project sections, adhering to corporate policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with at least 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the Middle East as a project lead. They will also have previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects related to this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and managing contract correspondence for clients and supply chain, maintaining accurate records. They will also develop, review, and advise on contractual letters, notices, and communications to guarantee compliance with obligations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare and submit payment applications in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete. They will also review and draft variation/change orders in line with contractual procedures, supporting the approval process with documentation and justifications.

Other key responsibilities include evaluating and preparing variation submissions and new rate proposals, assessing cost, scope, and time implications for fair contract adjustments. The successful candidate will also regularly update and manage logs for cost management, payment, variations, claims, insurance, and bonds.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 10-15 years minimum Oil & Gas experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other computer-aided design tools.
