My client a leading Architectural & Engineering practice renowned for delivering iconic and complex projects across the region are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead the construction supervision of a prestigious luxury hotel project in Dubai. Job Summary: The Project Director will be the senior on-site representative, responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of the construction supervision phase for a high-profile luxury hotel project. This role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise in large-scale luxury developments, and a deep understanding of construction processes, quality control, and stakeholder management in the UAE market. The successful candidate will ensure the project is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, budget, and schedule, reflecting the luxurious nature of the development. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Management: * Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire construction supervision team, including architects, engineers (structural, MEP), and specialty consultants. * Oversee all aspects of construction supervision from site mobilization through to project handover and close-out. * Develop and implement project execution plans, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. * Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, design intent, local regulations, and international best practices. Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. * Professional registration/licensure (e.g., P.Eng., RIBA, AIA, or equivalent). * Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in construction supervision and project management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Project Director, Senior Project Manager). * Mandatory: Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in the construction supervision of large-scale luxury hotel or high-end hospitality projects. * Demonstrable experience working on projects in the Dubai, with a strong understanding of local regulations, authorities, and construction practices. * Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget.
