Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing technical drawings and project documentation
- Conducting land and field surveys, performing geodetic calculations and structural inspections

- Ensuring survey tasks are completed on time and within allocated man-hours
- Verifying setting-out and elevation levels, inspecting and safeguarding the positioning of underground and surface utilities
- Creating supporting field sketches and maintaining comprehensive survey records
- Providing quantity measurements of completed work when needed
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working on infrastructure and road/bridge projects
- Proficient with CAD and survey software, total stations, data collectors and GPS surveying equipment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Senior Land Surveyor ( Bridge Construction Project )

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead surveying operations for a major bridge construction project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RTA standards, approvals, and documentation processes and will ensure the precise execution of all surveying activities to support construction and infrastructure alignment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee all land surveying activities for the bridge project in accordance with RTA standards and project specifications. • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and RTA representatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery of survey data. • Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys for bridges, roads, and related structures. • Prepare and validate survey reports, drawings, as-built documentation, and field data in line with RTA submission requirements. • Utilize total stations, GPS/GNSS, and other advanced surveying equipment to gather accurate geospatial data. • Monitor and maintain control points, benchmarks, and coordinate systems throughout the project lifecycle. • Review project drawings, site plans, and engineering documents to identify survey requirements. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control procedures during all field survey operations. • Supervise junior surveyors and survey crews, ensuring adherence to quality and project timelines. • Liaise regularly with RTA inspection teams and ensure all deliverables meet approval requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience in land surveying with at least 5 years on bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE. • Proven experience working on RTA bridge or road projects, with full understanding of RTA standards, regulations, and approval workflows. • Proficient in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Geo Office, or similar platforms. • Strong skills in using Total Stations, GPS, GNSS, digital levels, and data collectors. • Familiarity with local geodetic coordinate systems and datum transformations used in Dubai. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong reporting abilities. • Valid UAE driving license preferred. • Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., SSSI, RICS, or similar) is an advantage.
