Responsibilities
- Coordinate the deployment and roll out of the Lean Program with Plant Manager and plant leadership team, including developing, deploying, and sustaining lean manufacturing processes.
- Assist Repair & Maintenance Manager with Hoshin Karin Process and A3 thinking
- Develop and drive Value Stream Mapping (VSM), including developing VSM continuous improvement road maps and action plans Identify, create, and sustain standard processes throughout the organization
- Implement Shop Daily Management (SDM).
- Identify process improvement opportunities in collaboration with other functional leaders, employees and customers and categorize opportunities as improvement vs action activities, projects, or kaizen events.
- Facilitate lean daily management, promote initiatives to create Lean culture including Gemba walk, 5S/visual management.
- Develop, deploy and sustain lean manufacturing processes.
- Support both process and transactional productivity improvement or waste reduction projects.
- Excellent leadership traits with the ability to inspire and motivate the people around you.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively communicate at all levels from the shop floor to senior management.
- Hands- on, energetic person who spends time on the shop floor working to engage & sustain employees in a Lean culture

- Strong organizational and computer skills, including experience in MS Office and manufacturing software

- Proven experience as Kaizen Facilitator
- Successful practical experience in VSM, 5S, 5Why, TPM, Standard Work, Mistake Proofing, SIPOC,
- Process Mapping, Kanban, SMED, Types of Waste & Waste Reduction, Visual Management, Shop Floor

As a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of our employees, ensuring a safe working environment, and promoting sustainability.
Job Description:As an integral member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for conducting regular toolbox talks and briefings with employees to promote safety awareness. Additionally, you will conduct safety inductions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to perform their tasks safely.
One of your key responsibilities will be to ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance among staff members. You will also support the plant team in their daily operations, addressing any safety-related issues that may arise. Furthermore, you will conduct internal safety trainings on time, as per the job function annual safety training matrix, to ensure our employees are up-to-date with the latest safety protocols.
To maintain a safe working environment, you will conduct frequent emergency drills and ensure the knowledge of emergency preparedness is shared among all employees. You will also deliver timely communication and instructions to the plant team, facilitating smooth operations. In collaboration with the HSE Manager, you will develop method statements, risk assessments, SOPs, lifting and inspection plans, and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and allocate resources accordingly.
Another crucial aspect of your role will be conducting PTW/Risk Assessments for non-routine work activities and reviewing the firefighting system regularly using an inspection checklist. You will also perform frequent plant safety audits to identify non-compliance equipment and processes, implementing solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injuries.
Audit record-keeping practices, workplace organization, and associate behaviors will be under your purview, ensuring training, auditing, and scoring methods are accurate and consistent. You will review the PPE matrix regularly per each job function and ensure the safe handling, storage, and delivery of goods. Your responsibility will also include measuring site performance against published safety requirements and identifying a plan for sites to implement and fix identified gaps.
Lastly, you will carry out weekly reports on unsafe observations, contributing to a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar industry/FMCG.
- ISO 45001/14001 Certification is advantageous.
- Excellent English spoken and written skills.
- Certification from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health – NIOSH.

About the teamThe Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) team focuses on improving the logistics experience through high-impact initiatives and technology solutions. Recent projects include expanding micromobility and electric vehicle deliveries. We leverage data to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. Our team supports field operations, onboarding, and continuous improvement to ensure safety, effectiveness, and timely deliveries across Amazon's network.
Qualifications- A degree.
- Relevant experience in programme management with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing quantitative data to inform decisions.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL.
Preferred qualifications are not mandatory. We welcome applicants with diverse skill sets, including operational and technical experience, and those who have worked with teams across multiple locations and external partners.

Overview of the role:
As an HSE Supervisor, you will be reporting to HSE Manager and will be responsible for improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance and support the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of group-wide performance improvement programs.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and briefings with Knauf employees.
- Conduct Safety Induction for new employees, Subcontractors & Visitors on site.
- Ensure PPE Compliance for all staff.
- Support the Plant team in their daily operations for any safety related issues.
- Conduct the internal safety trainings on time as per the job function annual safety training matrix.
- Ensure the knowledge of the emergency preparedness by conducting frequent emergency drills.
--Deliver on-time needed communication / instructions to the plant team. - Support HSE Manager to Conduct method statements, risk assessment, SOPs, lifting & inspections plans.
- Analyze safety metrics and review incident Daily, weekly, and monthly incident trends to discover trends to rationalize the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.
- Conduct PTW / Risk assessments for non-routine work activities.
- Review frequently the firefighting system with inspection check list.
- Perform frequent plant safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site.
- Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
- Audit record-keeping practices.
- Audit the workplace organization and Associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing, and -scoring methods are accurate and consistent.
- Review frequently the PPE matrix per each job function.
- Ensure safe handling / storage & delivery for the different type of goods, Measure sites' performance against published requirements in safety policies, For all deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and fix all identified gaps.
- Carry out Weekly report for the Unsafe Observations.
