Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families with various mental health problems.

This role involves managing, monitoring, and reviewing a caseload through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic interventions. You will conduct both one-to-one and group counselling services to assist patients requiring therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance : Ensure the range and level of interventions, treatments, and activities complies with relevant regulations.
2. Client communication : Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.
3. Treatment modalities : Deliver psychotherapeutic interventions in various modalities – CBT, CFT, EMDR, Trauma focused CBT, DBT.
4. Counselling services : Organize, provide, and evaluate academic, personal, social, and emotional counselling.
5. Patient support : Build a good rapport with patients and deliver effective counselling and feedback on progress.
6. Problem-solving techniques : Use a variety of techniques to assist patients to reach their own resolutions or develop strategies to address and remedy their concern.
7. Support therapy : Provide one-to-one support therapy along with group support therapy.
8. Report writing : Write psychological assessment reports.
9. Professional development : Contribute to the development of pathways within specialist areas and provide team guidance and training on suitable approaches.
10. Record keeping : Complete records and all service monitoring requirements on time and to a high standard ensuring full compliance.
11. Continuing professional development : Maintain a high standard of knowledge in the subject area and continue to update this knowledge by attending CPD courses.
12. Multidisciplinary teamwork : Work and liaise with the Centre's multidisciplinary team.
13. Attendance and communication : Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and training as required.
14. Referral and liaison : Referring clients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate and liaising with healthcare professionals as part of a health management team.
15. Other duties : Perform other duties as may be delegated in line with the service provision.

Requirements:

1. Experience : 2 years' Psychology experience.
2. Education : A Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from an accredited university.
3. Licensure : DOH License / Eligibility Letter holder.
4. Advanced education : A Master's degree in clinical psychology or a Master's degree in a specific branch of counselling.
5. Communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
6. Computer proficiency : Good computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).

About You

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both written and spoken English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a distinctive advantage. They should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or an equivalent qualification and have a minimum of three years' relevant industry experience, particularly in a spa environment. A solid understanding and practical experience in skincare, skin treatments, and body treatments are essential. Previous experience as a beauty therapist is required, along with a keen interest in both aesthetic and beauty treatments.

The candidate should maintain a professional and polished appearance and have the ability to develop innovative retail merchandising strategies, along with selecting appropriate products. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as the role requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
