**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Document Controller** to join our team! In this role you will get to **perform a variety of document control functions for a project or department.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Plans, organizes, and implements systems for efficient document processing of all communications, design documents, construction documents or other internal or external documents.
+ Coordinates the flow of documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups.
+ Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation - Aconex.
+ Implements document/data management solutions with a primary focus on document control and records management. Administers data/document management applications.
+ Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with defined procedures and guidelines.
+ Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required.
+ Provides assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic information.
+ Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project and department requirements.
+ Verifies retention requirements, arranges document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of appropriate documents at time of closeout.
+ Delegates and directs the work activities of project document control team.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Must be **graduate** , plus **8+ years of related work experience** , with **at least 3 years in document controls** (or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience) in Construction or Engineering companies.
+ Proficiency in **Acones MS Office** with **expertise** in **Microsoft Word** , **PowerPoint and Excel.** Assignments will require a working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems.
+ Knowledge in document control work processes and utilization of electronic systems for document management, as well as corporate procedures related to document management.
+ Good written and oral communication (English Language), organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.

**Document Controller**
**Dubai, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller to join our team! In this role you will get to establish and/or maintain filing systems, schedules, and records; file correspondence, reports, bulletins; log reports, and correspondence.
**What You'll Be Doing** :
+ Establish and/or maintain filing systems, schedules, and records; file correspondence, reports, bulletins; log reports, and correspondence.
+ Process contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). You will also support and review contractor submittals for compliance with contract documents and logs responses.
+ To assist in providing technical and administrative review of construction documents to confirm design intent, RFIs, and submittals comparison, and coordination between projects.
+ Develop simple, clear, consistent file structures and implement controls to ensure that communication and work flow protocols are easily to follow.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring** :
+ Bachelor's degree or diploma in related field
+ Minimum 3 years of related work experience on a construction project
+ Well versed in EDMS - Aconex software.
+ Membership and/or certification in EMC (Enterprise Content Management) and/or ARMA (American Records Management Association) is preferred.
+ Knowledgeable of document control work processes and utilization of electronic systems for document management, as well as corporate procedures related to document management.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures are required.
+ Must also possess a thorough knowledge of database concepts, project-related software, and the ability to train others in its use.
+ Keys to your success will be your previous experience in providing document control on similar projects, your organizational skills and knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems.

**Job Description:**
**Document Controller**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Performs a variety of document control functions for a project or department.
+ Coordinates the flow of documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups. Incumbent may be responsible for a small-sized project.
+ Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation.
+ Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
+ Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required. Enters data and produces reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications
+ Scans documents for electronic storage.
+ Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements. Expedites review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents.
+ May perform some clerical duties such as light typing, filing, answering phones, messenger service, etc.
+ Assists junior document control staff to ensure effective implementation of project-specific procedures.
+ Performs other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities.
+ Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ A **Degree or Diploma** in related discipline.
+ Minimum **5 years** of document control experience in an engineering design / consulting environment.
+ Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required.
+ Assignments will require a working knowledge of **ACONEX** .
+ Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
