What exactly will you do?
- Provide comprehensive legal guidance across commercial, corporate, regulatory, and employment law matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements
- Monitor and advise on regulatory changes and developments in employment law
- Review transactional documents to identify risks and ensure compliance
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to stakeholders based on legal findings
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to secure favourable contract terms
- Conduct compliance assessments, audits, and implement procedures to minimise risk
- Deliver training to employees on compliance matters
- Support dispute resolution and litigation, including legal research and case preparation
- Prepare pleadings, submissions, and assist with mediation, arbitration, or settlement negotiations
- Work closely with the Global Director of Legal Services and Dubai stakeholders to ensure legal health of the business
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent
- Qualified solicitor admitted to practise in the UAE or another relevant jurisdiction
- 5–10 years' PQE with strong in-house or private practice commercial law experience
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
- Strong experience working with HR, Sales, and Finance teams
- Proficiency in UAE Labour Law and in-house experience with commercial law in the UAE
Desirable
- Familiarity with UAE Federal Laws and Dubai International Financial Centre Law
