Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Role Summary:
Lead Loss Prevention Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise loss prevention engineering activities across Oil & Gas projects.
- Develop fire protection, gas detection, safety, and risk management philosophies.
- Review and approve safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, and EERA.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, client specifications, and international codes (NFPA, API, OSHA, etc.).
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the loss prevention team.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and interface with clients/vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Fire/Safety Engineering or equivalent.
- 12–15 years of experience in loss prevention/safety design in the Oil & Gas industry.
- ADNOC or Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection design, risk assessments, and international safety codes.
