AECOM is looking to appoint an Associate - Cost Management to join a major client team in Dubai, working on high-end residential, hospitality and commercial developments.
**Desired Skills**
+ Experienced cost management professional with minimum 15 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East.
+ Ideally involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 6.
+ Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality.
+ Experience in management and assessment of claims, and strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for both consultants and contractors.
+ Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 200 million.
+ Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction.
+ Ability to provide advisory on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, support feasibility studies, pre-contract estimating including design to budget responsibilities and see through the post-contract phase with contracts close-out.
+ Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on mid-scale projects.
+ Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.
+ Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
+ Manages the resources across several projects, all within the established budgets.
+ Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with.
+ Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting.
