We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our Fiber Glass Factory (for boat manufacturing)

Responsible for performing cost analyses and preparing budget reports. Our ideal candidate should be able to present cost-effective solutions for the company.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
• Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent, and insurance)
• Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
• Prepare budgeting reports
• Analyze and report profit margins
• Preparing month-end and year-end closing
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Apart from the above, routine accounting jobs like day-to-day bookkeeping, maintaining ledgers & preparing payroll by month-end

Requirements:

• Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar role, especially in the Fiber Glass Industry
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
• Experience with accounting software, preferably with ERP
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and analyze profit margins to support business decisions.
