Job Description:This opportunity is part of a prestigious graduate program open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book. Join a dynamic and multidisciplinary infrastructure team as a Graduate Project Surveyor. As a key member, you will support commercial activities throughout the pre and post-contract phases of construction projects.
You will play a crucial role in assisting Quantity Surveying staff on both precontract and postcontract deliverables. Under supervision, you will undertake responsibilities such as completing quantity measurements for input into cost plans, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.
Your tasks will include assisting with tender documentation preparation, viability studies, and cost estimates. You will also assist with implementing, maintaining, and monitoring cost control procedures throughout the project duration. Additionally, you will provide necessary input related to financial claims and evaluate variations, additions, and omissions.
Furthermore, you will assist with preparing pricing and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors. You will analyze tender returns for input into rates databases and estimates. Lastly, you will contribute to report formatting, data management, and quality assurance procedures across all core service lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
- Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for the graduate program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
- Only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role due to AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and compliance with UAE labour law.

**Job Description**
AECOM is looking to appoint an Associate - Cost Management to join a major client team in Dubai, working on high-end residential, hospitality and commercial developments.
**Desired Skills**
+ Experienced cost management professional with minimum 15 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East.
+ Ideally involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 6.
+ Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality.
+ Experience in management and assessment of claims, and strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for both consultants and contractors.
+ Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 200 million.
+ Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction.
+ Ability to provide advisory on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, support feasibility studies, pre-contract estimating including design to budget responsibilities and see through the post-contract phase with contracts close-out.
+ Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on mid-scale projects.
+ Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.
+ Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
+ Manages the resources across several projects, all within the established budgets.
+ Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with.
+ Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting.
+ Supervises and mentors more junior members of staff to enable their development, assisting with the graduate development programme where appropriate.
+ Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports.
**Qualifications**
