Create original content for UAE Accountability Authority's (UAEAA) digital media platforms, press releases, and other relevant publications ensuring adherence to the Authority's communication policies, procedures and guidelines, and UAEAA Government-wide communications guidelines.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the section related policy, procedures manual, delegation of authority, systems user manuals and standard forms, and ensure alignment with UAEAA's overall policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the sections' strategic, budget and procurement, and operational plans ensuring alignment with the department and sector strategy and objectives, and UAEAA's vision.
- Assist in the development of the section Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure to meet individual KPIs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Operations:
- Develop content strategies, research content trends and create content for UAEAA, ensuring consistency across all communications and digital media platforms.
- Create content for crisis management communication in collaboration with Business Continuity section to provide clear and consistent communication to all employees during emergency/disaster.
- Collaborate with the Media Operations team and graphic designers to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas and define content goals.
- Proofread and edit all contents prior to publication to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of information.
- Analyse the performance of content based on multiple Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as unique page views, conversion rates, and the average time on page.
- Identify content setbacks and effectiveness, and determine the best content strategy moving forward.
- Analyse performance indicators and web traffic of UAEAA's digital media platforms, identifying areas where the content requires improvement.
- Work together with other relevant organizational units to determine subjects and relevant areas to generate creative content.
- Adhere to UAEAA editorial guidelines on fast-paced, multi-faceted projects to ensure a consistent tone across touchpoints.
- Reinforce clear workflows to plan, prioritize and deliver high-quality content artefacts in multi-team set-ups.
- Own all copy-related activities and processes, including final proofreading and approval.
- Support in developing online social media campaign ideas for specific target audiences while succinctly communicating UAEAA positioning and internal KPIs.
- Adhere to the UAE copyright law in order to protect intellectual property rights and avoid copyright infringement.
Talent Management and Development:
- Ensure completion of required trainings and certification programs in order to keep current with job requirements and ensure continuous performance improvements.
