Maintenance Professional

This role involves performing routine maintenance on property facilities and equipment, as well as inspecting areas of the property for safety issues. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting guests with property facilities, inspecting and cleaning MEP systems, maintaining lighting and HVAC units, and troubleshooting non-operational equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance on property facilities and equipment.
• Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take corrective action.
• Assist guests with property facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Inspect and clean MEP systems, including electrical wiring and plumbing.
• Maintain lighting and HVAC units throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair non-operational equipment.
• Handle work orders pertaining to the hotel and provide proper handover to the next shift.

The ideal candidate will have relevant building maintenance experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and a flexible attitude towards working within different subsections of the Engineering Department.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment used within GMG's Farm Fresh processing operations. • Document maintenance activities and manage tools and spare parts inventory.

• Recommend improvements to increase machinery efficiency.

Required skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 -2 years' experience in machine operation or maintenance, preferably in frozen food industries.
• High School Diploma or technical qualification (e.g., ITI with trade certificate in electrical or mechanical).
• Basic knowledge of MEP, food hygiene, and machine safety practices.
• Skilled in machine setup, parameter adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and documentation skills.
