A leading trading company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance with AML antibribery regulations international sanctions and KYC due diligence processes. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in trade sanctions regulatory frameworks and commodity trading compliance with fluency in English and Russian.
This role requires highlevel decisionmaking integrity and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes particularly concerning sanctions price cap rules affecting the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance & Trade Sanctions:- Ensure full compliance with Sanctions Framework Price Cap Rules and countersanctions.
- Monitor and assess international sanctions developments affecting commodity trading.
- Provide guidance on sanctions compliance financial crime risk and regulatory reporting.
- Review contracts transactions and trading activities to identify potential sanctions risks.
- Conduct KYC and due diligence on clients suppliers and business partners.
- Oversee antibribery and anticorruption policies ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Implement AML and financial crime prevention measures to mitigate risks.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and legal teams regarding compliance obligations.
- Advise trading teams on sanctions implications for transactions in the commodities sector.
- Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas sector regulations particularly price cap measures.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to align with trade compliance requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance training programs for employees.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance with a focus on Trade Sanctions.
- Strong background in Bribery and regulations KYC/Due Diligence.

Support visitors from global divisions and create purchase requests for non-direct production materials.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal trade compliance inquiries, ensuring adherence to trade regulations, customs, sanctions, and export controls.
- Manage trade compliance records, authorizations, permits, and support audits.
- Support budgeting, event planning, and administrative functions related to sales support and market communication.

We are looking for a Trade Compliance Manager to be responsible for the geographical area of the Middle East Trkiye and Africa to join our team. The role will be based in the UAE reporting to Area Trade Compliance Manager APM & China.
In this role you will:
Monitor & implement relevant regulatory developments applicable to the KONE environment
Advice and train business units and global functions on trade compliance subject matters such as customs tariffs country of origin and free trade agreements
Take lead in developing applicable trade compliance processes and participate in key projects as asubject matter expert
Support in customs and other relevant audits
Liaise with internal parties such as procurement logistics tax legal compliance and local business units and external parties such as customs brokers and relevant authorities.
The preferred location of the role is in Dubai the United Arab Emirates.
We are looking for candidates with:
Minimum 8 years of relevant trade compliance experience
Suitable educational background e.g. with international trade logistics economics or other relevant education
Knowledge of trade compliance regulatory requirements in the area of Middle East Trkiye and Africa
Understanding of customs tariff classification practice country of origin & free trade agreement requirements and customs valuation
Willingness to continuously develop own expertise in the field of trade compliance
High motivation to work as part of a global team with the ability to make effective decisions and drive issues promptly
Strong compliance mindset
Experience of independently managing cross-functional activities in a changing environment
Experience of working in an international and multicultural environment with a record of managing both internal and external stakeholders
The ability to collect manage and analyze data in a structured and efficient manner and to identify key issues and root causes
The ability to summarize and present complex facts to non-specialist audiences
Availability and willingness to travel worldwide when necessary
Strong technical skills including MS Office SAP are an advantage
Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
