Job Description:
FGi Global Solutions is seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This position focuses on data analytics and business intelligence to identify, assess, and prioritize business opportunities in government and international contracting sectors. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in leveraging data to support the sales team’s decision-making process and ensure FGi’s competitive advantage in bidding for key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence in U.S., UN, and EU contracting markets.
- Business Intelligence: Use analytics tools and platforms to gather insights that support the bid/no-bid decisions for key projects.
- Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate and rank business opportunities by aligning them with FGi’s strengths, capabilities, and market positioning, and as well as assigning it to the sales team member aligning with their expertise and past performance.
- Market Research: Conduct research on prospective clients, competitors, and industry trends to build comprehensive business intelligence reports.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create clear, actionable reports and dashboards that provide insights for decision-making by the sales and leadership teams.
- Client Interaction: Engage with former/existing clients to gather insights on future needs and to inform bidding strategies.
- Tool Utilization: Work with industry intelligence platforms and tools to track relevant government contracts and funding opportunities. FGi will provide training and support.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to improve proficiency with data analytics tools and government contracting platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Some industry experience, preferably in data analytics, business intelligence, or government contracting.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Understanding of business intelligence concepts and how to apply them in the capture process.
- Basic knowledge of U.S., UN, or EU contracting regulations and processes.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and risks.
- Excellent communication skills to present data-driven insights and work collaboratively with internal teams.
- Knowledge of French is a plus but not required.

- Build expertise in using analytics tools to drive capture success.
- Learn and grow within a business intelligence role by collaborating closely with FGi’s sales, management, and operations teams.
