Key Responsibilities- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models across banking domains (e.g., Retail, Corporate, Risk, Compliance).
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and compliant data models.
- Ensure data models support regulatory requirements (e.g., BCBS 239, AML, KYC, Basel III) and internal data governance policies.

To be successful as an Enterprise Data Modeler, you should have:

- Expertise in data modeling tools such as ERwin, IBM Infosphere Data Architect, or similar.
- A strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and data vault modeling techniques.

We are looking for a Data Architect to define and implement enterprise data architecture, ensuring that data is treated as a strategic asset across Landmark Group. The role will focus on building scalable, secure, and future-ready data platforms that enable advanced analytics, AI/ML, and business insights to support Landmark’s retail and digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy, frameworks, and governance models.
- Design and implement data platforms, data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Partner with product, digital, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data models and solutions.
- Establish data standards, metadata management, data quality, and security practices.
- Drive adoption of modern data architecture practices (data mesh, data fabric, streaming, real-time processing).
- Evaluate, recommend, and govern data technologies (Azure Data Platform, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Informatica, etc.).
- Collaborate with integration, application, and analytics teams to ensure consistent and accurate data flow.
- Define KPIs for data availability, quality, performance, and compliance.
- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and big data technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strategic mindset with ability to align data strategy to business priorities.
- Analytical problem-solving approach with focus on data-driven decision making.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technology and business.
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Target Background
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- 8–12 years of IT experience with at least 4–6 years in data architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks).
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proven experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
- Experience in large-scale retail, e-commerce, or B2C environments (preferred).
- Certifications in cloud data platforms or data architecture (preferred).
