Overview
Seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems within the data center.
As a Mechanical Systems Technician , your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.
- Checking the healthiness of all facilities equipment and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance functions.
- Repairing and maintaining a wide range of Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, and ELV equipment.
- Performing ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility MEP systems.
- Maintaining and operating all MEP related systems, associated equipment, electrical equipment, and building management system.
- Conducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions affecting operations.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Creating job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per site requirements and closing job cards assigned by engineers.
- Responding promptly and efficiently to emergency calls.
- Preparing and submitting summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommending actions to be taken.
- Reviewing and understanding equipment and methods of operation, electrical systems, ELV systems, fire/life safety, and other systems.
- Complying with all safety procedures and requirements.
- Maintaining essential stock of spare parts.
- Supporting after-hours building needs and activities as required.
- Attending training sessions and seminars.
- Other assigned tasks as requested.
