Job Title: Business Data Analyst (Banking) - Digital Transformation

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (1 year, renewable)

Job Summary:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows for digital projects.
• Act as a key liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and system changes within core banking functions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Design and execute test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets, generating actionable insights and KPI reports with Power BI.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, data-driven recommendations and presentations for diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a quantitative discipline.
• 5-9 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
• High proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in Power BI for data visualization.
• Proven experience working with core-banking systems and exposure to digital transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and expertise with JIRA.
• Exceptional written communication skills, adept at working in asynchronous, collaborative environments.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent stakeholder management.

• Relevant professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Scrum, Data Analytics).
• Experience with data modeling, Python or R for advanced analytics, and systems like Flexcube or OFSAA.
• Expertise in digital banking products, customer journey mapping, and process optimization.

Education

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management or related field.
• Solution and Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or other.

• More than 5+ years of experience in information technology, with 2+ years spent in data architecture or technology solutions definitions and implementations.
• Extensive experience in banking and financial services domain

• Expertise in Data Architecture, Data Strategy and Roadmap for large and complex organization and systems and implemented large scale end-to-end Data Management & Analytics solutions
• Experience in transforming traditional Data Warehousing approaches to Big Data based approaches and proven track record of managing risks and data security
• Expertise with DW Dimensional modeling techniques, Star & Snowflake schemas, modeling slowly changing dimensions and role playing dimensions, dimensional hierarchies, and data classification
• Experiences in cloud native principals, designs and deployments.
• Extensive experience working with and enhancing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD) environments
• Expertise in Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Governance, Data Security, Metadata Management, and Data Archival
• Define workload migration strategies using appropriate tools
• Drive delivery in a matrixed environment working with various internal IT partners
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring simultaneously
• Must be able to work independently and have skills in planning, strategy, estimation, scheduling

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning of data center spaces, ensuring they meet stringent operational, technical, and regulatory requirements while aligning with the company’s commitment to sustainability and AI-driven innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including structural, mechanical, electrical, and project management—to develop architectural solutions that are visually compelling, operationally efficient, and future-ready.

• Develop comprehensive master plans, floor layouts, and site plans for high-tech data centers.
• Establish design concepts balancing aesthetic appeal with operational requirements such as heat management and airflow optimization.
• Ensure space allocations align with rack layouts, cable management strategies, and scalability needs.

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with structural, electrical, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate architectural elements seamlessly.
• Coordinate with BIM specialists, data center engineers, and external consultants to align project goals and technical specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and workshops, ensuring architectural plans support both operational and safety standards.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Advocate for sustainable architectural solutions, incorporating certifications such as LEED or BREEAM when applicable.
• Manage documentation and approval processes with relevant authorities, securing permits and licenses in a timely manner.

Material & Finish Selection

• Specify materials, finishes, and architectural features that meet mission-critical criteria for durability, safety, and efficiency.
• Evaluate suppliers and products for their environmental impact, aligning choices with DataOne’s sustainability objectives.
• Implement best practices for thermal efficiency, soundproofing, and energy performance in data center environments.

Technical Optimization

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize rack placement, accessibility, and cable routing within data halls.
• Develop architectural solutions accommodating high-density computing, AI-driven processes, and advanced cooling systems.
• Innovate space-planning concepts for power distribution and resilience requirements.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation to ensure accuracy and project alignment.
• Oversee project milestones for architectural deliverables, providing quality checks and guidance to design and construction teams.
• Maintain up-to-date records of design changes, following strict version control and documentation protocols.
• Mentor junior architects, design technicians, and interns on technical and professional development.
• Contribute to project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting for architectural scopes.
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in architectural methodologies and sustainability practices.

• Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Experience : 8+ years in architectural design, with significant exposure to data centers or mission-critical facilities. Background in sustainable design principles is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM). Familiarity with 3D modeling tools like SketchUp or Rhino . Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite for high-quality presentations is a plus.
• Soft Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Certifications : Licensed Architect or equivalent qualification. LEED AP , BREEAM Assessor , or other sustainability certifications are advantageous.
