Role Overview
We’re looking for a Decision-Making Engineer to join our core autonomy team and lead the development of intelligent state managers for autonomous ground vehicles. This role focuses on crafting scalable behavior architectures that balance adaptability, robustness, and safety—tailored for a variety of real-world scenarios across on-road, off-road, and urban environments.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of decision logic into our autonomy stack and drive improvements across simulation and real-world testing environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement behavior-based decision-making frameworks for autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Develop and optimize state machines, behavior trees, and decision pipelines that adapt to various terrain types and vehicle configurations.
- Build complex autonomous behaviors using modular, reusable logic blocks.
- Address multi-behavior scenarios with intelligent arbitration, prioritization, and fallback mechanisms.
- Evaluate and refine decision-making architecture based on system performance in field and simulated environments.
- Develop and maintain robust unit tests, memory checks, and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
- Support field testing and hardware integration as part of the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with planning, perception, and control teams to ensure end-to-end functionality.
- Document design decisions and frameworks to support cross-team adoption and third-party integration.
- Work in a ROS2/Linux environment using C++, Python, and containerized development tools.
What You Bring
- Proven experience designing decision-making systems for autonomous vehicles or ground robots.
- Deep understanding of decision paradigms: utility-based, rule-based, probabilistic, optimization, statistical learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Strong experience with behavior trees, state machines, and planning frameworks (e.g., PDDL).
- Proficiency in C++ and Python; strong debugging and profiling skills (gdb, valgrind, gperftools).
- Hands-on experience with ROS2, Docker, Git, and field robotics development on Linux systems.
- Solid grasp of software design patterns and scalable architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in complex, dynamic systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with simulation and data analysis tools for autonomous system validation.
- Experience conducting large-scale field tests or multi-vehicle coordination.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer – Decision-Making to design and develop intelligent behavior frameworks for our autonomous ground vehicles. This role is at the core of our autonomy stack, blending classical decision logic with learning-based models to support reliable, interpretable, and scalable robotic behavior across diverse environments and vehicle platforms.
You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver robust, modular behavior architectures that enable our robots to make high-quality decisions in real-world, dynamic missions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop hybrid decision-making systems combining rule-based logic and learning-based models.
- Design scalable behavior trees and state machines adaptable to various vehicle dynamics and operational goals.
- Build modular behavior blocks to support reusability, maintainability, and high-performance mission logic.
- Tackle complex multi-option behavior scenarios with robust arbitration and safety logic.
- Collaborate with planning, perception, and systems teams to ensure smooth integration.
- Evaluate and compare classical and ML-based decision methods for safety, performance, and interpretability.
- Support field testing and real-time validation of decision modules.
- Create and maintain robust unit and integration tests, including CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Write high-quality documentation to support cross-team understanding and long-term maintainability.
- Work in a Linux/ROS2 environment using C++, Python, and containerized tooling.
What You Bring
- Strong background in robotics decision-making systems, including utility-based frameworks, state machines, and behavior trees.
- Experience integrating AI-based planning approaches with classical decision frameworks.
- Solid experience in autonomous systems or multi-agent robotics.
- Proficient in C++, Python, ROS2, and simulation/field testing workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Planning Consultant to help develop a forward-looking strategy for AI implementation within a government entity in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in strategic planning, preferably within government organizations, and hold a Master’s degree in Strategic Planning. They will be responsible for working alongside AI, cybersecurity, and data governance experts to create a 3-5 year strategy to move towards a full AI solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the current strategic alignment of AI and technology within the government entity.
- Develop a long-term 3-5 year strategy that ensures the successful implementation of AI solutions.
