Our goal is to help you quickly transition to building and maintaining your own client relationships.
We provide extensive training in product knowledge (Interest Rate Swaps and Listed Futures and Options), sales techniques, macroeconomics, and trading financial markets. We would love for you to have a good of knowledge to build from.
We're looking for graduates with at least 2 years of relevant financial experience, such as broking, trading, structuring, or roles involving fixed income. Direct experience of fixed income sales is a major plus.
Key qualities for this role include strong self-motivation, excellent people skills, high emotional intelligence, and a solid understanding of markets and macroeconomics. Product expertise and experience in the instruments listed above is a major advantage.

The Hedge Fund Trade Operations Analyst is responsible for communicating with portfolio managers, traders, brokers, and other interested parties, in order to confirm and settle trades on time, while completing daily deliverables, and fulfilling other trading and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Trading, Fund Accounting, Technology, and Risk teams with managing all trade lifecycle events for an array of asset classes including equity products, exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, FX, and fixed income products.
- Assist with trade bookings, processing life cycle events, support on P&L inquiries, and daily reconciliations.
- Process trade allocations, affirmations, settlements, options exercise/assignments, and related tasks.
- Monitor mandatory corporate action events and liaise with multiple PMs and PBs on voluntary elections.
- Perform processes related to corporate actions for equity and fixed income products.
- Advise MO/Valuations/Cash Rec teams on system level and/or PB level corporate action breaks.
- Monitor third-party platforms like prime broker portals and administrator systems for trade management.
- Work with the Reconciliation and Control teams to ensure the accuracy of internal books and records.
- Identify process gaps, work with internal and external resources to create detailed requirements to solve issues.
- Grasp big picture objectives to help senior management streamline workflows and minimize operational risk.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform adequate due diligence to resolve daily issues in a timely manner, in order to avoid any financial or reputational impact.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices to further develop effective operational policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as may be requested by senior management.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree; preferably with a concentration in finance, economics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange) within both domestic and global securities markets
- In depth knowledge of interest rate swaps, swaptions, and exchange traded derivatives highly preferred.
- Familiarity with fixed income and futures delivery processing.
- Systems experience with OSTTRA, Trax, Orchestrade, Geneva and Bloomberg beneficial.
- Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize daily processes, ad-hoc requests, and any issues escalated by internal and external parties.
- Intermediate or higher Excel proficiency.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy, and capability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.

We are currently looking for an Associate Vice President (Account Manager) to support our growing operations in the Fund Administration department. This role requires excellent management of client deliverables.
Responsible for working along with a growing team of Account Managers, Senior Fund Accountants, and Fund Accountants involved in NAV calculation, Shareholder Reporting, and Compliance from Dubai office, Apex Global Support Centers, or any other Apex location.
The Account Manager/AVP will be primarily responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables such as NAV computation, Transfer Agency, or Audit. To actively collaborate with the extended team at Global Support Centers.
The candidate will also be heavily involved in the implementation of the take-on process of new clients, which will involve review of PPMs, various agreements, setting up of NAV reporting packages suitable to the client’s requirements, setup on PFS Paxus (and/or any other system), and initial NAV calculations.
All work carried out will require detailed reviews for correctness and adherence to Apex policies and procedures. To become conversant with PFS Paxus software (or any other software, as required). To maintain the client relationship, take responsibility for coordination of regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and due diligence requirements. To prepare and/or review MIS reporting required by Senior Management or Apex Group.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in the NAV preparation and review process for our Hedge Fund clients, including management of the entire process
- Timely delivery of any other client-specific reporting requirements
- Planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team
- Reconciliation of investment portfolios, dividends, interest, corporate actions, and investor capital activity
- Good understanding of various types of Performance fee calculation, equalization, Management fee calculations
- Effective coordination with various support centers of Apex whenever required
- Responsible for accruing/amortizing daily or monthly non-security related Fee accruals including management fees, performance fees, and financing accruals
- Assist in the preparation and review of subscription, redemption pack, and ensuring timely communication with investors of the funds
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements & liaising with auditor as required and managing the entire audit process
- To ensure timely and accurate preparation of distribution calculations, tax statements, and liaising with the tax advisor of the fund
- Monitoring and review of the payments to be initiated for the client
- Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund's specifications
- Ongoing implementation and refinement of SSAE 18 controls along with coordination with internal auditors and external SSAE auditors
Additional Responsibilities include cross-selling services, developing client relationships, ensuring adherence to procedures, working on large fund mandates, internal and global projects, and acting as a point of contact for audits, tax, and compliance queries.
Skills required include 7-9 years’ experience, understanding of US GAAP & IFRS, complex fund structures, strong PC skills, relevant qualifications, knowledge of financial securities, commercial awareness, leadership, organizational and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
