- Data Center Consolidation: planning and overseeing the consolidation of multiple data centers, aiming for streamlining operations, reducing costs, and improving IT service delivery.
- Vendor Management: The role must negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and assess performance managed services vendors and third-party entities. Ensuring terms of all agreements are fulfilled and audit their contribution to organizational goals.
- Business Continuity: responsible for creating and managing tech-enabled business continuity plans, which are blueprints that the organization will follow in the event of a business disruption to ensure minimal impact on essential operations.
- Reporting: transparent and regular reporting on the performance and health of the IT infrastructure and services. This includes preparing and presenting detailed reports on service availability, system uptime, incident resolution time, and other KPIs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 15 or more years of experience in IT Service Operations, Infrastructure or relevant technology leadership.
- Proven experience in similar roles with a focus on strategic planning, tech service operations, cloud migrations, and data center management.
- Broad knowledge of IT systems, including databases, network systems, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity measures.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing complex cross-functional projects and teams.
- Preferred Qualifications: (CGEIT, CISSP, PMP, ITIL, CISA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
