Job Purpose
The Director of Nursing (Mental Health) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all nursing services within the mental health division. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous professional development across the nursing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for mental health nursing services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and quality standards in line with DOH regulations and international best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the nursing leadership team to ensure effective workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in nursing (or equivalent).
- Current DOH/DHA/MOH license or eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in mental health or behavioral health services is essential.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation processes, and clinical governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
