The Regional Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business growth through innovative marketing strategies. This role involves connecting regional product strategy to tactical sales and marketing execution, partnering closely with global and local teams to deliver programs that drive adoption of payment products and solutions.
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies in close collaboration with global and local teams to achieve growth goals, including supporting the adoption of new digital payment solutions.
- Become an expert on target audiences, developing compelling value propositions and messaging focused on innovation in commercial payments.
- Create marketing materials and experiential strategies aligned with regional priorities, highlighting key differentiators such as next-generation payment solutions.
- Lead and manage agencies on strategic marketing projects that support business objectives and drive tangible outcomes, with an emphasis on digital transformation and seamless payment experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive ecosystem awareness, thought leadership, and engagement by collaborating with global product and regional marketing teams to promote thought leadership content and position Visa at the forefront of digital commerce.
- Partner with regional communications leads to execute media and thought leadership programs, highlighting Visa's role in shaping the future of payments.
- Plan and execute key client/industry events and campaigns to engage target audiences and drive demand for Visa's commercial solutions, including the introduction of innovative payment options.
- Build sales enablement content and localize digital assets to support B2B campaigns and product launches, ensuring teams can effectively communicate Visa's latest commercial offerings.
- Activate ongoing marketing strategies and events to build awareness and drive demand, supporting both the launch and ongoing adoption of new solutions.
- Accelerate end-user adoption by leading client marketing initiatives in partnership with country teams, supporting activation, acquisition, and usage for commercial products—especially those leveraging digital and intelligent commerce capabilities.
Requirements:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Experience in emerging payment and ecommerce trends, including digital transformation and intelligent commerce.
- Knowledge of Agentic commerce and Infused ecommerce.
- Experience with partner programs is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented, innovative mindset.
- Proven ability to discover customer insights and create impactful messaging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse markets and cultures.
