Job Overview

This role focuses on spearheading e-commerce operations, driving sales growth, and enhancing user experience.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field).
  • A strong proven track record, experience as a leader, or developed/worked in a startup operation is a plus.
  • 5–10 years of e-commerce experience.
  • Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and profit/loss management is essential.
  • Expertise in emerging e-commerce tools and technologies is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking are required.
  • Deep experience optimizing SEO, CRO, PPC, ROI Analytics, digital marketing, and email marketing is preferred.
  • Previous experience in fashion is an advantage.

This role is critical for assessing new business opportunities, conducting in-depth market analysis, and providing actionable insights to ensure successful business ventures and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats across various industries.
  • Conduct detailed feasibility studies and prepare robust business cases for new ventures and expansions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment returns, profitability, and risk factors.
  • Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to guide decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Design and implement business intelligence dashboards and performance metrics to monitor ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, marketing, and legal to validate business assumptions and strategies.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations for the Chairman and board members.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to proactively advise on business strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement of analytical processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in business intelligence, market research, strategic planning, or management consulting.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, ROI analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and business intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to senior leadership.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Understanding of the regional (UAE/GCC) market landscape is a plus.
