Job Description
• Install and configure Linux systems (laptops/desktops) in our lab and field environments. • Manage disk partitions, filesystems (including btrfs), package installations and system upkeep. • Perform basic network configuration (e.g., setting up interfaces, routing, firewalls). • Develop automation scripts using shell/bash to streamline workflows. • Process radar data: geocoding, value-added editing, quality-control of radar output from our unique triple-band interferometric systems. • Collaborate with engineering and field teams on data deliverables; ensure data integrity and timely delivery.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled professional who enjoys working with complex radar data and Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of analytical ability, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with system configuration and scripting. • Excellent knowledge of Linux (installation, configuration, troubleshooting) and command-line tools. • Strong bash/shell scripting skills for automation and workflow optimisation. • Programming experience in Python and IDL for data processing and analysis. • Experience with system administration tasks such as managing partitions, filesystems (including btrfs), and package installations. • Understanding of networking basics, including setup and troubleshooting. • Very good English communication skills (spoken and written). Desirable (Nice to Have) • Previous experience with radar data processing or remote sensing applications. • Knowledge of geospatial data formats and coordinate systems. • Familiarity with cloud environments or high-performance computing (HPC). • Experience collaborating with international or multidisciplinary teams. Analytics Consultants act as trusted advisors to our clients across the region and have responsibility for managing the associated client relationships. Consultants look to develop deep linkages with our clients and help clients make best usage of our products in the context of their investment or risk process and their business goals.
The individual will be responsible for supporting a suite of our Analytics Products. This will involve sharing best practices, explaining risk models applied to multi asset class portfolios and partnering with the sales team to provide expertise in client engagements and pre-sales activities. Successful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of market risk measurement and management, pricing of asset types (including equity, fixed income, private assets, commodities, and derivatives), highly quantitative skills and an ability to guide institutional clients to better use our products for assessing risks and making investment decisions. The successful candidate must be adaptable, able to lead efforts to solve clients' problems.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships within our Middle East client base; work closely with senior client executives & risk managers; implement strategic plans to ensure client retention.
- Develop expertise in MSCI products and models as well as latest market trends and regulatory landscape to provide clients with Best Practices guidance.
- Identify opportunities to increase client usage of our products and identify new users.
- Work closely with the sales team on potential up-selling and cross-product selling opportunities. Assist in campaigns on new product placement.
- Proactively engage with clients to keep them informed of our product road map with a view on how our development efforts will help them achieve their business goals; proactively solicit client feedback regarding future product development.
- Work with internal functional teams to ensure that all clients requests / inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Respond to detailed client enquiries about methodologies and analytics; hold advanced client training / workshops; present in seminars.
- Based in our Riyadh office in Laysen Valley, travel to client locations across Saudi Arabia and GCC may be required.
- Deep understanding of global financial markets, including modeling and pricing of different asset types in the fixed income, equities, private assets, commodities, and credit markets and their derivatives · Superior written & verbal communication and time management skills.
- Business level English essential. Desired Experience Previous experience in risk management/quantitative finance, working closely with investment decision making teams.
- Desired Qualifications MSc required ideally from finance/engineering/mathematical background. CFA, FRM, MFA, CAIA, a plus

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and service-oriented individual to join our analytics sales team as an Associate, focusing on selected segments within the institutional investor community across the GCC region. This role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This Sales Specialist role will be responsible for originating new business as well as maintaining existing client relationships for MSCI's suite of Analytics products, encompassing both the Barra and RiskMetrics brands, and including Performance Attribution solutions. Travel is required within the designated sales territory to meet with clients/prospects regarding new products as well as enhancements to existing products. The role entails positioning and closing sales of quantitative investment decision support tools with prospective clients, and upselling existing clients. Sales Specialists leverage their in-depth knowledge of the risk and investment management process to identify needs and opportunities, working with Product Management to structure and propose enterprise solutions tailored to each client situation.
This role is highly visible, with involvement in all aspects of an account, including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, sales closing, and ongoing relationship management. In this role, individuals will work very closely with Sales Management, Client Consultants, Product Management, Legal, and Sales Operations. Compensation and title will be commensurate with experience.
- Achieve targeted quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Develop strategic sales plan for allocated sales territory
- Develop strong sales pipeline for each allocated country and industry segment
- Lead client engagement, needs assessment, and solution pitches
- High-level contact with clients/prospects and other major industry participants
- Address client inquiries (including RFIs & RFPs) regarding products and solutions
- Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, finalized contracts
- Work seamlessly with other departments (Client service, Research, Product Management, Legal, Billing) to ensure that all client requests and inquiries are managed appropriately
- Proactively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development
- Provide feedback from clients to Marketing, Sales, Research and Product Development groups
- Based in our Riyadh office in Laysen Valley, however travel to client locations across the GCC is required.
