We are seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our onsite Supervision team based at Dubai.

Your role will involve inspecting and supervising electrical works on projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, building codes, and other regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems during installation to ensure alignment with local, state, and national codes.
• Review electrical plans and specifications to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Identify and document non-compliance deficiencies or safety concerns, working with project teams to recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical subcontractors and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely and according to plan.
• Provide oversight to electrical installations, ensuring quality standards are upheld and that work is completed on time.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE requirements, safe work practices, and adherence to relevant safety regulations.
• Act as the point of contact between site teams, project managers, engineers, and clients, offering technical expertise and guidance as needed.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure proper workflow and project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical inspection and site supervision, with at least 4 years in a consulting environment.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and installation practices.
• Experience with project management tools, scheduling software, and reporting systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise electrical teams on-site.
• Experience with large-scale Construction projects and related electrical installations.
• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.

• Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the HSE team in site operations, interfacing with clients and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular risk assessments for electrical and instrumentation work activities, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement control measures to minimize risks associated with electrical and instrumentation work.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain awareness of local, state, and federal HSE regulations to ensure company compliance.
• Investigate electrical and instrumentation-related incidents and accidents, developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver toolbox talks on electrical and instrumentation safety, focusing on best practices and emerging trends.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and skills related to electrical and instrumentation safety.
• Create and maintain emergency response plans for electrical and instrumentation scenarios, conducting drills to test their effectiveness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to electrical and instrumentation safety, submitting regular reports to project management.
• Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards, rectifying them promptly to maintain a safe working environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent HSE certification.
• NEBOSH IGC certification.
