**Position Summary**
The **Blade Repair Technician** is accountable to complete tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor / Production Manager
**Main Responsibilities**
Quality, Safety and Environment
1. Ensure work performed on assigned rotor blades is conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Actively participate in company OH & S program and company safety management system.
Commercial Management
1. Perform maintenance on components including but not limited to the repair of helicopter rotor blades to agreed timelines.
2. Ensure the workshop supervisor is advised of any spare's requirements in the correct timeframe to meet project deadlines.
3. Record work performed in work packs for assigned projects and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements.
4. Record daily hours and take action as directed to correct or prevent over-runs.
5. Inform the supervisor of any additional work requirements over and above what has been quoted in order to inform and gain customer approval
Sales and Customer Management
1. Provide regular feedback to the Workshop Supervisor or Production Manager on progress of planned maintenance.
2. Provide input into response to customer queries and complaints.
Regulatory and Compliance
Ensure maintenance performed on rotor blades is conducted in compliance with the Civil Aviation regulations.
**KEY CHALLENGES (& CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS):**
1. Actively support and participate in the RBIH Middle East/Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the RBIH Middle East/Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
2. Component work packs are completed in compliance with regulatory, company and customer requirements.
3. Ensure maintenance performed on assigned rotor blades is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and Civil Aviation Regulations.
4. Identification of additional work requirements is accurate.
5. Provide input into customer queries and/or complaints.

The R&M Technician - Completions is responsible for the repair, maintenance, inspection, and refurbishment of Weatherford completions tools and equipment, including upper and lower completion systems, liner hangers, and related service tools. The role ensures that all equipment is serviced to the highest safety and quality standards before deployment to the field. Senior technicians may also supervise and mentor junior staff within the workshop.
**Responsibilities:**
Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, testing, and reassembly of completions equipment.
Maintain and service upper/lower completions tools, liner hangers, packers, and related accessories per technical manuals and procedures.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with HSE standards; complete JSAs and participate in toolbox talks.
Track and document work activities using work orders, checklists, and maintenance reports.
Operate lifting equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes (with certification).
Prepare completions tools for shipment and receive inbound equipment.
Report equipment issues, troubleshoot faults, and escalate complex problems to supervisors.

Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electronic/Electrical Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic and electrical systems across NEP’s broadcast infrastructure, including OB trucks, studios, and data centres. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic capabilities and a deep understanding of broadcast standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular maintenance and servicing of broadcast equipment and electrical systems (e.g., video routers, audio consoles, UPS systems, power distribution units).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in electronic and electrical systems, both on-site and remotely.
- Support technical readiness for live events, ensuring equipment is operating at optimal performance.
- Maintain and update equipment documentation, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new broadcast systems or electrical upgrades.
- Collaborate with broadcast engineers, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless technical integration.
- Support health and safety compliance related to electrical infrastructure.
- Participate in 24/7 technical support rotations for outside broadcasting
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement for replacement components.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Broadcast Engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in a broadcast or media technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, signal flow, power systems, and low-voltage installations.
- Familiarity with broadcast systems (e.g., SDI, IP, RF, fibre optics, and signal distribution).
- Experience with OB truck maintenance and broadcast-grade power systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during live event coverage.
- Electrical Technician License (where applicable)
- AVIXA CTS, SMPTE or manufacturer certifications (e.g., EVS, Grass Valley, Sony)
- OSHA or health & safety certifications are a plus
