About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Control Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing control panels for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. This role requires a strong background in control panel wiring, fault diagnosis, and on-site commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical control panels for STP and RO systems
· Perform control panel wiring, modifications, and upgrades as needed
· Conduct on-site commissioning and functional testing of control systems
· Diagnose faults in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other control components
·Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
·Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth system integration
·Maintain detailed records of work performed and assist in preparing technical reports
Requirements:
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in STP and RO control systems
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, relays, timers, and PLCs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and control panel layouts
- Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with major PLC platforms
- Knowledge of motor control systems
- Basic understanding of SCADA systems or HMI software is a plus
