As a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, you will play a crucial role in our team's success. Our team is dedicated to creating resilient and sustainable infrastructure that connects the physical world with the digital world.
The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in testing and commissioning of Transformers, Siemens Switchgears NXAIR, 8DA10, Sivacon S8 and the protection systems. You will be willing to work at site in challenging On and Offshore O&G environments on a rotational basis with 12-hour working time, 7 days a week.
We are looking for someone who can provide advanced technical support for Siemens distribution systems with a focus on testing and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will deliver testing & commissioning in industries such as oil & gas and petrochemicals.
You will act as the on-site technical representative for Siemens leading the end-to-end testing and commissioning process. Collaboration with customer teams to achieve timely testing and commissioning of the Siemens equipment and acceptance of the testing works is essential.
Independently handling complex technical issues and mentoring less experienced engineers as needed is also a key responsibility. Staying current on Siemens products and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development is required.
Assessing and managing on-site risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, quality benchmarks, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines is a must.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical engineering or a related subject is required.

Job Specific Accountabilities Maintenance
• Isolate and energize Low Voltage LV and High Voltage HV motors, UPS, transformers, generators and Other electrical circuits as per Company’s enabling certificate authorization, which includes carrying out the skilled electrical fault finding, diagnosis and troubleshooting of high and low voltage equipment.
• Accept and complete the Electrical isolation confirmation certificate to ensure completion of activities.
• Identify and obtain spare parts and the necessary tools to meet maintenance requirements.
