**What you'll do:**
The **Electrical Design Engineer** is responsible for designing, developing and implementing low voltage electrical distribution systems, with a focus around systems engineering, automation and applications across a variety of projects, working in design software and engineering tools to provide optimized and de-risked proposals:
+ Design and develop low voltage electrical systems and components for automation projects.
+ Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
+ Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects.
+ Select appropriate electrical components and materials for system design.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during the development and testing phases.
+ Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
+ Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design activities
+ Liaise and support with multiple internal stakeholders inclusive of product line management and front end solutions architects
**Qualifications:**
+ University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
**Skills:**
+ Proven experience in LV electrical design automation and system based design 5+ years
+ Proficient in using electrical design software, Eplan
+ Data centre project experience is a big advantage
+ Familiar with IEC Standards and regulations
+ Excellent problem solving skills
+ Fluent speaking and writing in English
+ Good communicator and presentation skills
+ Self-motivated and takes ownership on results

- Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
- Support the preparation of detailed technical, commercial and life cycle cost analysis of various technical alternatives. Prepare and deliver detailed technical PowerPoint presentations for clients. Experience in preparing technical design reports with minimum support from managers.
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from approved university.
- 4-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering).
- Affiliation with recognized standard bodies is an added advantage. Other specialist training certificates may be required.
- Recent experience in mechanical designs to local and international standards.
- Extensive experience and proficiency in using BIM and Revit.
- Experience on detailed designs of mechanical systems for drainage, sewerage, irrigation and fire pump stations.
- Must have thorough knowledge of NFPA regulations, and various local authority standards in the GCC (preference in Dubai).
- Approval from DM / RTA would be an added advantage.

What you need is:- UAE National with a valid Family Book (in compliance with UAE Emiratization regulations).
- Fresh graduate or soon to graduate , holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering , or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 3 months of experience in a professional setting (internship, apprenticeship, or entry-level role), or an early-career professional eager to grow.
- Bilingual proficiency : Strong command of both Arabic and English , written and spoken.
