Key Responsibilities

• For non-native English speakers - a valid IELTS of 5.5.

What you’ll bring :

• Hands-on 10+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 4+ hands-on technical management experience in shipping large-scale projects with multiple dependencies across teams.
• Solid experience as Java Developer, databases (MySQL, Cassandra, etc), caching solutions (Redis, Memcache).
• Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale distributed applications.
• Strong integration and configuration skills are required, e.g. network devices and servers (e.g. Windows and Linux, AWS, Openstack), integration maps (e.g. EDI maps, XSLT maps, etc.), API gateways, web services, setting up transport protocols (e.g. SFTP, FTPS, TLS etc.), scripting languages (e.g. Python).
• Experience in Telecom domain SMPP, SIP, OSS & BSS will be an added advantage.
• Track record in partnering, recruiting, building, and leading on-shore and off-shore engineering teams and technology vendors.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to fill the position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science.

• As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Mechatronics, developing and implementing curriculum, and mentoring students in research projects.
• You will also contribute to the development of relevant programs, workshops, and seminars, and participate in outreach activities with industry and government agencies.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will conduct high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and pursue external funding through grants, partnerships, and collaborations.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, a strong publication record, and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

• This is an entry-level position that offers full-time employment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

• Teaching & Curriculum Development:
• Teach assigned classes in Mechatronics.
