The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of highly skilled Field Engineers. This position entails a dual role, requiring the candidate to divide their time between employee management and serving as a leader for high level Operations and Sustainment in support of the Triton program at OCONUS sites. Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years related experience or Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years related experience.

  • High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.

  • Experience with ground station systems and IT responsibilities associated with a ground station.

  • Experience with trusted downloads from Classified systems.

  • Experience performing review and analysis of engineering schematics, supplier design data, support of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration on the Ground stations.

  • Familiarity with and performing field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of systems at customer locations on a flight line or in a hangar or within a command-and-control center.

  • Familiarity with Aircraft Vehicle operations associated with Ground stations.

  • Familiarity with OCONUS assignments and administrative management of site-specific cost and oversight requirements.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
As Project Engineering Manager for High-Voltage GIS Substation and STATCOM projects in the UAE, the role entails comprehensive leadership across engineering, coordination, and client interface functions. Key responsibilities include:
**Engineering Management**
+ Manage global time schedule of concerned engineering activities, check coherency of links between engineering activities and other project functions activities (procurement, construction, commissioning) and organize follow up of critical activities of the project or of his/her discipline.
+ Lead the end-to-end engineering scope for HV GIS and STATCOM projects (from basic to detailed design).
+ Ensure engineering deliverables (layouts, schematics, protection philosophy, BOQs) comply with DEWA, TRANSCO, SEWA or FEWA standards.
+ Coordinate all technical disciplines: primary, secondary, civil interface, control, and protection.
+ Manage OEM and vendor integration, ensuring interface alignment with GIS, transformers, STATCOM, and balance of plant.
**Project Coordination & Planning**
+ Develop and monitor the engineering execution plan, aligned with project milestones.
+ Coordinate technical interfaces between project partners. Coordinate with EPC contractors, local design consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery.
+ Organize and manage disciplinary design reviews.
+ Ensure that a proper technical risk analysis is conducted in case of innovation.
+ Ensure proper global design freeze.
+ Organize input data acquisition for O&MM and as-built documents.
+ Facilitate engineering design reviews, HAZOPs, FATs, and SATs with client representatives.
**Customer and Authority Interface**
+ Act as the primary engineering contact for clients such as DEWA, TRANSCO, and other authorities.
+ Lead the submission, clarification, and approval cycle of:
+ General Technical Particulars (GTPs),

**Quality and Compliance**

**EHS and Design Safety Responsibilities:**

+ Integrate EHS Design Gate Reviews into key engineering milestones, ensuring that safety-by-design principles are considered during layout development, equipment placement, and operational access planning.
+ Collaborate with HSE teams and construction personnel to address technical risks related to HV safety, confined space access (GIS), arc flash zones, and STATCOM commissioning hazards.
+ Actively support the preparation and review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRAs) and participate in safety review meetings with the client and contractors.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
+ 6+ years of Engineering activities as lead HV Substation Design Engineer.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant international standards such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, and CIGRE guidelines.
+ **Regulatory & Technical Compliance**
+ In-depth understanding of UAE authority standards for HV GIS substations (132kV to 400kV) and STATCOM systems, including:

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides all support activities to PreSales; handles all preparatory and scheduling activities for projects execution. Responsible for all sourcing and procurement activities for the different projects. Provides reporting on projects progress.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Support sales through preparing sales quotes and bids; receives PO from clients to log and commence project tracking

  • Prepare the BOQ for issuance to project team for installation at site; Also prepares BoQ's for variation orders and maintenance contracts
  • Monitors progress of the project in collaboration with the Engineer in Charge; this normally covers progress of work, manpower usage and cost, material usage and cost
  • Actual sourcing and procurement activities for the project covering technical and non-technical material for the project.
  • Handles logistics - Coordination with the freight forwarder and supplier in receiving and dispatching of materials. Prepares all the documentation for import/export.
  • Coordinates with necessary work permits associated to the project.
  • Prepares final documentation for final hand over and completion certificates

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor or Diploma of Engineering in Electrical or Electronics or Computers or IT or equivalent.
  • Project Management skills are preferred; certification will be an asset.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years experience in project management or coordination in security services or similar industry
  • Must have prior UAE experience.
