As an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality EIA services across various sectors, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure projects (stormwater, sewerage, rail, and road), community development , and marine/coastal projects . You’ll lead and coordinate EIA efforts, oversee contributions from multidisciplinary teams, and manage environmental compliance and regulatory engagements. Your role will also include interpreting EIA results to guide master planning and design teams on mitigation or compensation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver EIA expertise across multiple sectors, particularly within infrastructure and environmental management.
Manage the coordination and quality of environmental inputs from specialists and ensure alignment with regulatory and client expectations.
Handle project administration , including client communication, coordination with engineers, hydrologists, and other technical experts.
Guide the integration of EIA findings into master plans , advising design teams on mitigation and compensation options.
Support procurement and management of sub-consultants , including preparing RFPs and reviewing technical deliverables.
Ensure project outputs meet environmental regulations , especially within the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Contribute to environmental monitoring plans and ensure alignment with standards set by global financing institutions (e.g., World Bank, IFC).
Represent project findings in client workshops and regulatory meetings.
Strong understanding of EIA processes and frameworks across GCC, especially UAE and KSA.
Knowledge of Saudi environmental laws and application.
Familiarity with environmental safeguards and standards of international development finance institutions.
Proven project management and stakeholder coordination experience.
Skilled in drafting and reviewing EIA documentation , with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
Ability to manage environmental sub-consultants and integrate inputs from various technical disciplines.
Experience with client advisory , mitigation planning, and regulatory engagement.
Master’s degree in an environmental discipline (preferred).
At least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy or project management.
Membership with IEMA or equivalent (preferred).
Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively.

- Develop health and safety plans that ensure compliance with legal, customer, and organizational guidelines.
- Implement and monitor EHS Management Systems following ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, as well as corporate and customer requirements.
- Participate in EHS core team meetings to identify workplace hazards and establish control measures, including for electrical installations, testing and commissioning, hot work, height work, civil work, mechanical and manual material handling, confined spaces, and machine safety.
- Provide guidance and training to site personnel on EHS practices and safety protocols.

- 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a preference for candidates who have experience in power plants (e.g., switchyards, switchgears, drives, turbines, transformers, and Electrical Balance of Plant).
- A full-time Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, along with an M. Tech in Industrial Safety or an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) approved by the state technical board/RLI/CLI.
- Strong team player and collaborator with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
