This is a key role in ensuring Environmental and Social (E&S) compliance for lenders. The position will be based in Iraq or Dubai and involves project preparation, monitoring, and execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with the TEEP Ratawi affiliate and other GGIP projects to ensure E&S standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage E&S compliance for SPV: Adopt and deploy PROJECT's E&S standards, ambitions, and commitments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards throughout the project lifetime.
- Define and follow up on the status of project's E&S studies and plans, associated planning and budgets.
- Raise, report, and resolve any E&S incidents.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Lender E&S compliance management.
- Transverse coordination related to Lenders.
- Be the E&S focal point for the Lenders and Technical advisor consultant through the ESDD/ESAP process.
- Ensure implementation of E&S requirements by Contractors.
- Ensure TEEPRH Social Performance Strategy is adhered to.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in Environmental or Social engineering or similar.
- Advanced level English (both written and spoken).
- Arabic is a plus.
You should have at least 5 years of experience as an E&S Consultant for Project Sponsors and Lenders interactions and/or similar experience.
Experience in IFC PS, EBRD compliance follow-up, ESIA processing of renewable projects, ESDD reporting, and Lender's requirements follow-up is highly desirable.

- Oversee the deployment and operation of IoT-based sensors for tracking key parameters such as CO₂, PM2.5, TVOCs, temperature, humidity, and other comfort and pollutant indicators.
- Facilitate the integration of IEQ data into Building Management Systems (BMS) and centralized digital platforms using standard communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, MQTT, REST API).
- Possess good design and implementation knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment selection in accordance with ASHRAE standards, ensuring alignment with IEQ objectives.
- Conduct regular analysis of IEQ performance, identify areas of non-compliance with international standards (e.g., DM, Mostadam, WELL, RESET, LEED) and contribute to the development of improvement strategies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in HVAC measurement, testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) processes to verify system performance and optimize indoor environmental quality.
