Job Description

The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on local IFRS standards and/ or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators) based on local statutory reporting.
+ Manage Local Regulatory Reporting requirements for Central Bank of UAE, Dubai Financial Service Authority, Financial Service Regulatory Authority and Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority.
+ Submission of Local Financial Statements in liaison with external auditors
+ Responsible for Capital and Liquidity management reporting including but not limited to:
+ - Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP),
+ - Stress Testing
+ - Basel, Pillar III requirements
+ - Recovery Plan.
+ Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
+ Instill operational discipline into existing team processes
+ Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans
+ Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
+ Serve as a technical mentor for an area within the business
+ Build and maintain a thorough understanding of related product reporting and analytics and utilize knowledge of systems and process flows to provide insight and recommendations on identified issues
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred
+ Global Project Management experience preferred
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
+ Proven organizational and time management skills
+ Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master's degree preferred

We are seeking an experienced Principal IT Business Analyst to join our team in Abu Dhabi/Paris.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Capital Markets regulatory reporting (MiFID, EMIR, SFTR) and deep expertise in Murex implementation . This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of complex front-to-back trading and regulatory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review processes, procedures, strategy changes, and capacity plans to ensure productivity, inventory control, and turnaround time according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Develop proposals for all initiatives and communicate opportunities and progress against the proposal in a concise and timely manner to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial industry, preferably in regulatory reporting space
  • Proven record of achievement in leading teams in a large, matrixed organization
  • Solid experience in local non-financial regulatory reporting
  • Proven experience working with demanding business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Deep understanding of regulations and operational processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.
  • Proven experience leading a team
  • Good understanding of Investments and Capital Market products as well as trade execution and settlement processes
  • Analytical thinking skills

Join our team as a Business Data Analyst at the forefront of digital transformation within a leading UAE bank. In this pivotal role, you will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams, applying deep analytical expertise to drive insights, optimize processes, and elevate customer journeys across key digital banking initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows for digital projects.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and system changes within core banking functions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Design and execute test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets, generating actionable insights and KPI reports with Power BI.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, data-driven recommendations and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a quantitative discipline.
  • 5-9 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
  • High proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in Power BI for data visualization.
  • Proven experience working with core-banking systems and exposure to digital transformation projects.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and expertise with JIRA.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, adept at working in asynchronous, collaborative environments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Scrum, Data Analytics).
  • Experience with data modeling, Python or R for advanced analytics, and systems like Flexcube or OFSAA.
  • Expertise in digital banking products, customer journey mapping, and process optimization.
