We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team at the newly established NOVOMET manufacturing and assembly facility in JAFZA, Dubai.
This role is crucial in establishing and leading all HSE functions from the ground up—developing safety systems, ensuring compliance with local authorities, and fostering a safety-first culture from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and compliance measures for the JAFZA facility.
- Coordinate with JAFZA, Trakhees, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Civil Defense for regulatory approvals and audits.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, HAZOP studies, and job safety analyses.
- Manage HSE training, inductions, emergency drills, and awareness programs.
- Oversee PPE usage, safety systems, and waste management practices.
Mandatory Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in HSE within manufacturing or oil & gas, including 2–3 years at JAFZA-based facilities.
- Experience setting up HSE frameworks during greenfield or new facility launches.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE legal frameworks and regulations.
- Understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and audit processes.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, First Aid / Fire Warden (Civil Defense certified) are preferred.
