This is a rare opportunity to work in the field of environmental laboratory chemistry. As an Environmental Laboratory Chemist, you will be responsible for performing organic and inorganic testing on various samples, including water and soil samples.

You will have hands-on experience in collecting, preserving, and transporting water samples, as well as developing new methods and protocols to enhance laboratory capabilities. You will also conduct validation and measurement uncertainty studies for organic and inorganic parameters in the lab.

In this role, you will implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical analyses. You will also perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks as per ISO/APHA methods, and conduct QA/QC checks and standardization as directed by the section in charge or Lab Manager.

You will maintain a clean laboratory environment at all times, adhere to international standards ISO/IEC 17025, local government requirements, GLP, and other relevant laboratory safety standards, and conduct risk assessments to identify potential sources of contamination and develop mitigation strategies.

• BS/MSc in Chemistry
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Analytical Laboratory
• Excellent instrument knowledge
• Knowledge of international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel & Word
