Responsibilities
  • Operational Support: Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, permissions, and collaboration tools
  • Troubleshoot and maintain local networks, AV systems, and employee devices (Mac, Windows, mobile)
  • Support IT needs in lab and manufacturing/test environments
  • Escalate tickets to vendors and coordinate resolutions as needed
  • Infrastructure & Application Administration: Scale and maintain virtualized and network infrastructure
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding in collaboration with the People team

Must Haves

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Finance, to ensure seamless integration and data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements, streamlining workflows, and enhancing reporting capabilities to support the organization's evolving needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to HR systems, bringing forward innovative ideas and recommending enhancements to maximize system effectiveness.

Compliance and Data Security:

  • Ensure strict adherence to relevant data protection and privacy regulations, maintaining compliance of People Systems and processes.

  • Distributed Systems Debugging: Utilize your extensive experience to debug and resolve the most intricate and obscure issues in distributed systems across multiple nodes and network environments. You will lead complex debug efforts for customer-facing issues and drive root-cause analysis.
  • Performance Engineering and Optimization: Identify and eliminate system bottlenecks by deeply profiling, optimizing, and tuning core components for maximum performance. Your expertise will directly influence critical system metrics like latency and throughput.
