The Executive Leadership Development Director will oversee the design, delivery, and implementation of a range of leadership development programs. These programs will be tailored to meet the training and learning needs of the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performing leaders by enhancing managerial and leadership skills through customized leadership development curriculums.
- Provide a personalized leadership development journey for each leader, elevating them in their current and future roles.
Key Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with commercial stakeholders, trainers, and HR Business Partners to identify training needs and create long-term solutions.
- Partner with external training providers to deliver best-in-class learning experiences.
- Design and deliver ad-hoc learning initiatives as requested by business leaders.
- Implement effective methods to optimize the learning roadmap, budget, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all floor managers have an Individual Development Plan (IDP), regularly updated.
- Create dashboards and templates to track the leadership development journey, learning impacts, and training ROI.
- Deliver exceptional stakeholder experience by being a trusted learning business partner.
- Support the Head of Talent L&D and Employee Experience to build a customer-driven organization aligned with business strategies.
- Ensure proper rollout of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in all learning and training initiatives.
- Support the annual talent identification and review cycle, including talent calibration, succession planning, high-potential employee identification, flight risks assessment, mobility, and completion of employee Talent Profiles.
- Work closely with Leadership Teams and HR Business Partners to build career paths for retail roles and create development plans to fast-track talent.
- Facilitate internal/external leadership assessments to understand skill gaps.
- Update the Talent Management toolkit as needed, create talent profiles, and facilitate capability-building sessions for HR Business Partners and Line Managers.
- Create talent profiles and ensure all high potentials have IDPs.
- Share insights from talent calibration and employee performance review cycles.
Requirements:
Education/Certification and Continued Education:
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in any relevant field.
- Professional certification (CIPD or SHRM) would be an advantage.
Years of Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, Talent Management, or related experience in building, delivering, and measuring high-impact learning experiences to a diverse audience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable basic commercial and business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Good influencing, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Good change management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management, planning, and execution skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning practices, facilitation, and training techniques.
- The ability to organize, prioritize, and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in designing, delivering, and measuring high-impact learning experiences for the leadership population.
- Strong personal leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in English; Arabic would be an advantage.
