Treasury offers a diverse range of conventional and Islamic banking solutions and is responsible for the Group's funding, investments, and centralised risk management activities. It manages the Bank's borrowings, issuance of debt securities, and use of derivatives to mitigate financial risk, while investing in a range of instruments, including green bonds, short-term placements, and corporate and sovereign debt securities.
We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and governance across the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design through planning and implementation, ensuring transparency, risk mitigation, and complete alignment with IRRBB requirements.
- Manage IRRBB and regulatory projects with a focus on global coordination, comprehensive planning (macro and micro), budget oversight, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful execution and compliance.
- Manage global coordination of project backlog issues among business owners to ensure system changes meet business requirements, follow quality and change management processes and monitor UAT environments as agreed.
- Drive departmental stakeholders through analysis, design, configuration and testing phases to ensure optimal operational performance and successful delivery.
- Monitor and govern the strategic roadmap for risk and regulatory system implementations (such as FIS and Moody's) and change initiatives while ensuring alignment with business priorities and manage the identification of improvement areas and the prioritization of initiatives across relevant domains.
- Supervise the planning and execution of IRRBB, regulatory project and solutions, ensuring global coordination, comprehensive planning at both macro and micro levels, budget control, risk mitigation, and effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and manage strategic workshops, acting as a key facilitator between business stakeholders and vendors, ensuring early identification of gaps and risks, and guide the refinement of deliverables to maintain alignment with business objectives.
- Provide direction to regular architecture reviews across the application portfolio, monitor the risks and contribute to the service improvement plan to ensure ADCB systems are in line with market standards.
- Support the execution of new processes and system initiatives by contributing to the development of implementation plans and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, in alignment with approved project scope and timelines.
- Create system demonstration training materials and deliver sessions to internal and external users in order to promote system understanding and usage while minimizing user errors through clear, effective instruction.
- Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements, escalate issues as needed, and coordinate timely project deliverables to uphold service quality.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in financial services industry with experience of implementing systems in Treasury/system usage understanding.
- Bachelor's degree in applied finance, Mathematics, Computational Finance, Engineering or equivalent.

· Master Financial Risk Manager (FRM), ICA Specialist or Certificate in Conduct Risk
· Knowledge and Skills
· Knowledge in banking

· Intermediate Excel, Word and MS Office skills
