Responsibilities:

• Safely operate trailers, trucks, and heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment between specified destinations.
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance checks of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness (oil, water, tires, brakes, lights).
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods to avoid damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly to management.
• Ensure timely delivery of shipments while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.
• Assist with route planning and comply with schedules as assigned by the transport manager.

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Driving License (as per local regulations).
• Minimum (X) years of proven experience as a Trailer/Heavy Truck Driver.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and heavy vehicle operations.
• Ability to handle long-distance driving and flexible working hours.
• Physically fit to manage loading/unloading activities if required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting on the road.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in (specific industry: logistics, construction, container transport, etc.).
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and digital log systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties/responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with security operating procedure, legislation and code of practice/ethics.
• To liaise with the police, service providers and internal concerned departments to ensure that appropriate use of the system.
• To include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence
• To provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquires.
• To report equipment failure to the security supervisor to maximize operation of the system.
• To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations set up by Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) and to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times.
• To maintain the provision of information required by the Security Manager, and to assist the monitoring of the CCTV system in accordance with SIRA regulations and the continuity and admissibility of evidential material.
• To be aware of your responsibilities in terms of health and safety including appropriate health and safety training.

What does the Smash Driver / Smash Operator do?

Glad you asked Operators are the heart and soul of the Smash Room. The majority of the Operator Driver job is to run the The Smash Mobile to an Event and Drive in any part of Dubai to Create a SMASHING experience for our Smashers.

That includes:

• Having HIGH ENERGY We need someone who is super friendly and excited to engage with customers and isn't afraid to show their personality.

• Spreading the positive energy and good times through our smashing experience

• Greeting smashers as they arrive, signing them in, explaining the rules and ethos of the game, etc

• Encourages smashers to try more stuff and smash even more items (i.e. upselling)

• "Resetting" everything in the room to its original position; (including light to medium physical activity such as lifting of appliances and electronics, clearing of smashed items, etc.)

• Maintaining a clean workspace, light cleaning of toilets, etc.

A portion of the job may also be administrative:

• Responding to emails, phone calls, etc

• Following up with recent smashers via emails, team photos, etc

• A bit of social media community management (responding to comments, replying to inquiries, posting Stories, etc.)

1. Machine Operation & Handling
   Safely operate heavy equipment like excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, forklifts, or cherry pickers to perform tasks such as loading/unloading, material handling, excavation, or supporting aircraft operations.

2. Safety & Compliance
   Adhere to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and relevant standards. For airport roles, this includes compliance with IATA, ISO, ISAGO, or ISAGO GDP/CEIV standards.

3. Pre and Post-Operation Checks
   Conduct inspections (fluid levels, brakes, hydraulics, etc.) before and after machinery use. Clean equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.

4. Supporting Operations
   In aviation: load/unload baggage & cargo, marshal equipment around aircraft, manage ULDs, trolleys, and staging.
   In utilities or construction: assist with grading, excavation, material movement, or streetlight maintenance using elevated platforms.

5. Record Keeping & Communication
   Maintain logs for usage, maintenance, fuel levels, and incidents. Communicate effectively with supervisors or site teams and participate in safety briefings or toolbox talks.
