Overview of the role:

The Sales Assistant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team.

What you will do:

Store Safety

  • Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
  • Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to the dress code .
  • Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting .
  • Provides customers with current relevant information about the product.
  • Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.

Quality

  • Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale .

Administrative

  • Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness, and captures customer information in the database.

Required Skills to be successful

  • Extensive experience in Sales, Marketing and Operations and working in the retail/ brand management industry specifically in Fashion.
  • Sound in-depth knowledge of the market, brand positioning and trends.
  • An understanding of the current economic situation impacts of potential threats and competitors.

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualification and Knowledge:

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of Retail Sales experience.

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

  • Some heavy lifting
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Strong Customer Service

Job Summary:

The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for developing and executing a compelling visual merchandising strategy that enhances the customer experience and aligns with Mouawad’s luxury brand identity. This role will oversee all aspects of in-store and product displays, window displays, packaging ideation to execution, and the integration of visual elements to drive sales and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution:

  • Define, design, and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy that enhances brand storytelling and customer engagement.
  • Support in the creative conception, implementation and execution of all VM assets for new launches including but not limited to: promotional sites, pop ups, windows, podiums, event space design , lightboxes, instore screen content in a timely manner algning with marketing calendar
  • Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that guide customers through the store and showcase key collections.
  • Develop and produce showcase animation and displays, signages, floor plans, and special promotional setups.
  • Ensure displays are regularly updated to align with product launches, marketing campaigns, and seasonal themes.
  • Research competitor strategies and provide recommendations for enhancing in-store experiences.
  • Have knowledge of print and production build techniques and mindfullness of budget restrictions and leadtime
  • Implement VM guidelines inline with brand creative direction
  • VM monthly reports and measure impact

Store/Product Display Training & Collaboration:

  • Oversee in-store product presentation, ensuring alignment with the brand’s luxury aesthetic and customer journey.
  • Optimize store zoning and customer flow to create an engaging and seamless luxury shopping experience.
  • Oversee the arrangement of VIP areas and private salons for high-net-worth clients and bespoke experiences.
  • Train boutique staff with the support of retail on visual standards to optimize store layout for sales impact.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of different visual layouts on customer behavior and sales performance.
  • Conduct regular store audits to maintain consistency in brand presentation across all boutique locations.
  • Guide and mentor in store VM ambassadors ensuring adherence to luxury display standards.

Packaging Development & Execution:

  • Lead the ideation and execution of premium packaging that reflects the brand’s luxury positioning.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and designers to develop innovative packaging solutions.
  • Ensure packaging aligns cost efficiency without compromising on quality.

Budgeting & Supplier Coordination:

  • Monitor costs and work within budget for all visual merchandising activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source materials and elements needed for displays and packaging.
  • Ensure high-quality production and timely execution of all visual elements.
  • Tracking of budget and invoices, alignment on the allocated budget to avoid overspending

Trend & Data Analysis:

  • Conduct research on lifestyle, demographics, and design trends to continuously refine the visual merchandising approach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Analyze customer behavior and the impact of visual merchandising strategies on sales, making data-driven recommendations.
  • Competitor analysis

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, retail, merchandise and suppliers.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the luxury or jewelry industry.
  • Strong creative and design sensibility with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and effective communication
  • Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies.

Role Purpose:

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day backend operations of our ecommerce platforms across multiple brands and markets. This includes handling order processing, coordinating fulfillment, resolving platform issues, and ensuring smooth system integrations between SAP and Shopify. The role also supports online merchandising activities and contributes to operational efficiency through automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and data-driven reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end ecommerce order process (cancellations, returns, exchanges, refunds) across GCC markets.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between SAP, Shopify, OMS, payment gateways, and 3PL systems; coordinate with IT to ensure uptime and data accuracy.
  • Conduct daily QA checks to ensure site readiness, smooth navigation, and checkout functionality.
  • Support online merchandising tasks, including product sorting, homepage scheduling, and campaign readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports using BI tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, etc.) to track orders, returns, fulfillment, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in creating workflow automation to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with content, IT, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless site operations.
  • Participate in UATs, platform upgrades, and system enhancements with internal tech teams.

Requirements:

Experience

  • 2–4 years in ecommerce operations or platform management.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus and SAP (Retail, MM, or SD modules).
  • Understanding of system integrations and API workflows.
  • Experience with online merchandising .
  • Ability to create reports and dashboards using BI tools.
  • Exposure to automation tools like Power Automate is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technical understanding of ecommerce platforms and workflows.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills

What you’ll be doing

At Chalhoub we express the exceptional! As a Fashion Consultant you will be responsible for achieving individual and collective sales targets while delivering exceptional Guest Experience; and ensuring support in the implementation of CRM, CX and other key customer and people initiatives in-store.

  • Collect customer behaviour data and key top sellers, slow movers for business reviews.
  • Drive client relationships within an omni‑channel approach.
  • Provide pre‑buying feedback on products.
  • Drive eNPS through people experience initiatives and culture.
  • Ensure adherence to VM guidelines and Standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure click and collect are conducted within SLAs (Service‑level agreement).
  • Ensure customer data is properly captured in adherence to marketing team requirements.
  • Promote loyalty program (MUSE) and stay up to date with app offerings etc.
  • Support in‑store marketing events and activations.
  • Keep abreast of all brand social media activities and campaigns.
  • Drive sell‑throughs within the store.
  • Support in‑store CX initiatives.
  • Provide input to what’s working well / what’s not working well within the store.
