Job Description


This role is responsible for encompassing the performance of aftermarket services and support for the installed base, as well as High Voltage Products (GIS, LTB, AIS, GCB & Power Quality) maintenance services to our utility, contractor for UAE and would involve performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs on High Voltage Products, as well as performing commissioning activities. It also involves the development and implementation of proactive services responsive to customer requirements. The position also includes coordination of investigations ofcustomer-reported issues and assistance to achieve equitable solutions for our customers.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Strong knowledge of Power Quality Products & Service portfolios.
  • Arrange and perform activities in shop floor/ Site related to quality checking of product/ Services, incoming material quality, Operation Service quality monitoring.
  • Install, commission and maintain power quality systems, including filters, capacitors and reactors.
  • Analyze electrical systems to identify power quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to design and execute commissioning plans. Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot power quality issues.
  • Monitor and test electrical parameters such as voltage, current and harmonics, provide technical support to clients and internal teams, document procedures, findings and recommendations and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Elaboration of inspection and test plans and concepts during tenders and projects in the areas of Power Quality Solutions
  • Conception, preparation and execution of factory and site acceptance tests together with customer and supplier.
  • Coordination of commissioning works inclusive take-over of responsibility for budget and time of all commissioning activities on site.
  • Self-responsible supervision and management of suppliers and/or partners, active leadership of commissioning activities on site in UAE, continuous learning and development in all related technologies and arranging & sustaining a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements.
  • Employees shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
  • Acts as voice of customer back into internal engineering and quality functions.
  • Effectively manages multifunctional interfaces - internal, feeder factories, service department, customers, and sub suppliers.
  • Able to show personal leadership & maintain a teamwork environment to deliver assignments.
  • Responsible for adherence to the quality assurance requirements on the Power Plant /
    Substation / Oil & Gas / Process Industries site and seeks to improve these continually.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of power quality systems, filters, capacitors & reactors.
  • Experience in collaborating with clients and engineering teams.

**What you'll do:**
The primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs and periodic maintenance for Eaton installed base/products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be working on Eaton UPS products from small 1-phase UPS to large data center UPS up to 1700kVA.
Main Responsibilties:

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a vital role in supporting JBT Marel's high-end food processing equipment. Based in Egypt, you'll travel across the EMEA region to install, service, and maintain complex systems for major food producers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Install, maintain, and repair high-precision food processing systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing fast and effective solutions

Sulzer Middle East is looking for a field service engineer, responsible for the overhaul, repair, installation & commissioning of pump equipment to support our client base in the Middle East. Preparing, coordinating and carrying out inspections and repairs of all pump types at customer sites inside and outside the country, within the specified time and at the estimated cost.

The position is home-based or UAE-based, requiring travel back and forth to the Middle East upon business needs.

  • Carrying out reparations and inspections inside and outside the country at customer sites.

  • Communication: communicates (in English as well) with Supervisor Field Service, Site Manager, contractors, and internal Sulzer Turbo Services departments.
  • Writing daily reports.
  • Work with: PC, MS Office package, telephone, hand tools, lifting equipment and gear, induction equipment, welding and cutting equipment, Sulzer regulations, OEM instructions, customer rules and regulations and local safety regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience of minimum 10 years of working on centrifugal pumps (API610) and rotating equipment.
  • Experience working in the Middle East.
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data.

To provide quality, professional and profitable after-sales support to the Emerson customer base in Middle East & Africa for all Emerson Pressure Management products

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Perform routine service maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements and as advised by designated service lead.
  • Calibration, testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics of Pressure Management Products. Strong Technical skills in assembly, testing, trouble shooting in pressure relief and regulator products
  • Perform system start-up and commissioning services on various Pressure Management Products as required.
  • Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment when requested to do so.
  • Be an authority of any changes as business evolves and assist with implementation as necessary for process improvements.
  • Conduct Customer Service training and take ownership for customer co-ordination.
  • Complete documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities - cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc.
  • Diligently complete timesheets, site visit reports and all other documentation in a timely manner and in line with Emerson internal procedures.
  • Support Repair centers when requested to do so.
  • Proactively identify Service / Product opportunities and assist the sales pursuit
  • Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
  • Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
  • Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees where requested.
  • Perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the designated local service lead or by any member of the MEA service management team.

  • Experience in Valves Field Service and working with industrial customers and EPC's
  • Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems are strongly preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Dubai region. The successful candidate will coordinate onsite and remote automation technical support, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our customers. Responsibilities include managing the full incident and problem lifecycle, collaborating across technical support, sales, and business development teams.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead field service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Execute critical customer-facing activities aligned with business performance metrics.
  • Improve customer ratings through effective service and support.
  • Provide maintenance and technical support for Field Instruments, including Hartenabled devices and ATG systems.
  • Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and calibration of E&H instrumentation.
  • Support FMCG and process industries, including Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, and Petrochemical sectors.
  • Develop preventive maintenance plans and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Identify and resolve long-term instrumentation asset concerns to improve reliability.
  • Respond to emergency technical support requests for corrective maintenance.
  • Maintain documentation to enhance the company's data repository and information systems.
  • Advise on equipment and design specifications for process control and data acquisition systems.
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures diligently.
  • Communicate effectively with OEMs and stakeholders to ensure successful work delivery.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics/Mechatronics) with at least 3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation systems' specification, installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and calibration.
  • Hands-on experience with Rockwell systems.
  • Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and measurement systems in Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Petrochemical, and manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams, ISA symbology, and hardware/software conventions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective stakeholder interaction, including with OEMs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead technician teams.
