Finance Manager (Iraq Mega Projects Consultancy Programme)
LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
The role will be primarily office-based with flexibility for remote working. Travel to Iraq on a visiting basis may be required.
THE ROLE:
We are currently looking to hire a qualified accountant with 10 plus years of working experience. The successful candidate will be part of a team reviewing and analysing public and private company accounts to provide restructuring options. This will require analysing appropriate indices and company data and benchmarking against internationally expected norms, building target operating model accounts, and modelling the potential options.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviewing company accounts and providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Gap analysis of financial records to identify critical operating areas.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Conduct business transformation-related consultancy assignments.

- Experience of process improvements, business transformation, building target operating models, and reengineering business processes (preferably for public entities).
- Proven experience of 5-8 years in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Middle East.
