Job DescriptionThe Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, revenue auditing, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations.
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and credit card transactions.
Monitor revenue postings and conduct night audit checks as required.
Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and relevant local accounting regulations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor petty cash disbursements and maintain proper records.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Finance Executive plays a critical hands-on role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations and compliance functions of OliOli. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial transactions and records across multiple channels including POS, eCommerce, and third-party platforms.
The Finance Executive will be directly involved in transactional accounting, reconciliations, payroll processing, supplier payments, VAT and corporate tax filings, and the preparation of internal management reports. They will also support budget preparation and variance tracking, monitor receivables and payables, and coordinate closely with internal departments and external partners including banks, tax authorities, auditors, and vendors.
This role requires a detail-oriented, dependable professional who can execute core accounting tasks in compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, while maintaining rigorous documentation and contributing to internal control and risk mitigation initiatives. The Finance Executive must demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical proficiency (including in Tally and Excel), and a proactive attitude in identifying and resolving accounting or compliance issues.
Working under the guidance of the Group Finance Manager, the Finance Executive will play a foundational role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the group.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Accounting and Tax
- Execute refund transactions to customers through bank, online payment gateway
- Reconciliation of daily sales from various channels including POS, Ecommerce, Third Party Apps with bank & online payment gateway statement
- Payment to suppliers in line with policies
- Issue POs, receive and compare quotations, process invoices
- Payroll processing and managing accounts for employees including leaves, and end of service benefits
- Coordinate and liaise with Administration, HR, Café, and other external service providers
- Provide reports to management including MIS (P&L and Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements)
- Quarterly VAT filings
- Manage annual corporate tax filings and liaise with tax authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws in invoicing.
- Prepare and maintain documents for corporate tax purposes.
- Ensure that transfer pricing documentation is maintained as required and track related party transactions.
- Prepare monthly, annual, and cost center-wise budgets, and review variances periodically.
- Liaise with banking partners for various operational requests.
- Review books of accounts on a monthly basis and ensure proper monthly, yearly closing of books of accounts.
- Ensure accounts are prepared in accordance with IFRS.
- Review third-party contracts for compliance with internal policies from a finance/accounts perspective.
- Draft SOPs for identified risks or internal control weaknesses and ensure its compliance.
- Facilitate periodic checks of inventory and petty cash.
- Monitor receivables and follow up with debtors.
- Cash flow or fund flow management
- Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and oversee schedules for prepayments, fixed assets, employee benefits provisions and other source documents
- Prepare and submit intercompany reimbursement claims, ensuring all supporting documents are properly arranged.
Administration
- Maintain updated list of all contacts of third-party vendors, suppliers, institutional customers
- Organize all documentation physically and electronically in an efficient manner

Job DescriptionThe Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, revenue auditing, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations.
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and credit card transactions.
Monitor revenue postings and conduct night audit checks as required.
Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and relevant local accounting regulations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor petty cash disbursements and maintain proper records.
Provide financial data and analysis to support operational decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with hotel PMS and accounting systems (e.g., Opera, Sun, SAP, Oracle).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
