Job DescriptionThe Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and timely completion of month-end processes. This role supports the Financial Controller in managing accounting functions and helps guide the accounting team to achieve operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and income audit.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash disbursements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
Train and mentor junior team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA is a plus).
3–5 years of progressive experience in hotel accounting or finance.
Strong understanding of hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, Sun Systems, SAP, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
