Your mission
As Accountant in our Finance Department , you will ensure financial integrity and compliance across our operations. You will play a key role in closing, reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives across Tractebel's global presence.
Your key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist with budget monitoring.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
- Handle month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and expense reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely postings in accounting systems.
- Supervise accounts receivable/payable with weekly aging reviews.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and support regional and group-level reporting.
- Submit VAT and WHT returns for Middle East entities in compliance with local laws.
- Assist in external audits and resolve discrepancies or compliance issues.
- Manage global payment processes and petty cash disbursements.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts across global Tractebel entities.
- Apply and promote IFRS standards and internal accounting policies.

About Your Team
You will be part of LINQ's Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. The team plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and performance monitoring across modular construction operations. - Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reconciliations
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in VAT filing, payroll processing, corporate TAX, and petty cash management
- Assist in financial reporting and audits
Administrative Support:
- Oversee office management tasks, correspondence, and record-keeping
- Manage inventory, purchases, and vendor coordination
- Provide support for gallery operations, exhibitions, and events
Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years in an accounting or administrative role (preferably in the UAE)
Software Skills:
Proficiency in
Zoho Books.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of
bookkeeping, VAT filing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
Language:
Fluency in
English
(spoken & written); Arabic is a plus
