Description

We are currently seeking talented, reliable, and team-oriented WordPress designers / developers with the intent of providing a long-term position. You will be completely responsible to manage and bring enhancements in the company website and develop new features as requested by the company. You must be able to understand company needs and deliver project deliverables in a timely manner that will exceed our expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Managing/maintaining and developing websites from scratch in WordPress
• Customizing WooCommerce and WordPress as needed.
• Testing, debugging, and refining websites to produce final, fully QAs product
• Managing web hosting of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 5 years minimum.
Experience in UAE: experience in UAE required.
Education: Bachelor Degree is an advantage.
Languages: English required, Arabic is an advantage.
UAE driving license: UAE driving license is an advantage.

Technical Inputs & Retail Design Review:

• Responsible for arranging and conducting the kickoff meetings with tenants and their teams.
• Check profiles of contractors chosen by tenants to ensure experience aligns with requirements.
• Review design submission reports for defaults and violations per DHAM/Authority policies, providing expertise in retail store development and redevelopment cycles.
• Compare tenant drawings with actual site conditions, identify modifications, and guide tenants through DHAM processes for TVR submissions and approvals.
• Manage design review of kiosks, carts, trucks, pocket shops, ATM spaces, and wall units based on DHAM guidelines.
• Coordinate retail tenancy designs with Project Management, Construction, Leasing, and Mall Management to incorporate all relevant factors.
• Provide technical inputs to tenants, consultants, and contractors on design and construction activities.
• Work with design teams to create solutions and expedite final design approval.
• Conduct site visits to inspect tenant and contractor work against approved drawings and schedules.
• Inspect quality of fabricated units for short-term retailers against approved drawings.
• Understand design and construction documents, criteria, and provide technical support.
• Review and monitor design and construction processes, procedures, and quality management plans.
• Review base build shop drawings, sample submissions, and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Review Lease Outline Drawings (LOD) issued by FM team.
• Recommend products and systems to meet design intent based on research.
• Ensure timely communication and coordination for design approvals.
• Coordinate architectural drawings at all stages to resolve conflicts and interface issues.
• Review operational units' requests for modifications, activations, and promotions booths.
• Ensure shops/units are operational by opening date, adhering to timelines, and minimizing downtime.
• Implement health & safety measures including method statements and risk assessments for fit-out contractors.
• Follow up to achieve tenant mobilization within timelines and resolve issues.
• Redesign retail formats aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
• Ensure all designs meet DHAM standards and minimum criteria.
• Prepare weekly reports on fit-out status for internal departments and senior management.
• Maintain project documentation including tenant designs, site activities, and authority documents.
• Manage project phases including fit-outs, documentation, design procedures, and tracking.
• Serve as the primary contact for tenants, conducting kickoff meetings and providing guidelines.
• Liaise with contractors, statutory authorities, and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Provide direction to contractors and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with leasing to contact tenants if unresponsive.
• Maintain relationships with tenants and advise on design/fit-out as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Creativity, innovation, and market knowledge.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Resource planning and organizing skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.
• Gender: Male preferred.
• Experience: 2-4 years in retail design, preferably in large malls or retail development.
