The role entails

Define, get buy-in, and implement the holistic vision of a world-class internal cloud.

Set up, maintain, and update the technical design roadmap and guidelines for the SREs within IS, aiming to improve reliability, resilience, operational scalability, and technical scalability.

Collaborate with and provide input to cloud-ops software development teams for roadmap, requirements, and prioritization to build a highly standardized and automated operation.

Advise IS management on technology, reliability, resilience, and business cases.

Lead technical decisions to implement solutions as self-service products, ensuring scalable operations.

Work with product and operations security teams to establish best practices and mitigate threats promptly.

Automate operations for reuse across major companies, considering distributed system complexities.

Collaborate with development teams to design service architecture, documentation, playbooks, policies, and operational procedures.

Analyze incidents to identify root causes and recommend structural improvements to prevent recurrence.

What we are looking for in you

  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university.
  • Degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative narrative.

Handle laptop setups for onboarding, including imaging, application installations, and account configurations.

  • Network & Connectivity

Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.

Liaise with service providers for telecom and internet services, including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

  • IT Helpdesk & Support Operations

Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues within the office.

Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.

Provide remote support for offsite employees when needed and escalate issues as appropriate.

We are seeking an Information Systems Manager.

Job purpose :

Lead the strategic planning, implementation and management of business applications and information systems for our Fuels Division.

This role will report directly to the division CIO and focus on ensuring our application portfolio effectively supports business operations, drives efficiency, implementation of standard solutions across multiple countries and enables data-driven decision making.

Principal Accountabilities

Oversee the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of suite of business applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and integrate effectively.

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Monitor project progress, adjust plans and schedules as needed, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project / program lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, within and outside the organization, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Manage stakeholder relationships, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making

Implement and monitor security measures to protect data integrity and system functionality.

10+ years of experience in leading complex technology projects and programs.

Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

Job Description
Work as part of a cross functional team to help and lead the development of new features. Show off your code review, debugging and refactoring skills, taking advantage of every opportunity to make the codebase better. Contribute to application improvement & optimization (through code audits, refactoring, caching, architecture changes). Write DRY code while using various best practices. Qualifications

Basic understanding of Unix commands and environments. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
