Our organization is seeking a Sales Director to spearhead sales efforts targeting government entities and GCC-based organizations.
This role involves developing and nurturing key relationships, driving business, and ensuring that our organization becomes the go-to destination for government clients.
- Lead sales strategy and efforts for government and GCC accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in government organizations and regional businesses within the GCC region.
- Target high-potential government and GCC accounts to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals meeting client needs while showcasing our offerings.
- Negotiate contracts with government entities and GCC clients to ensure profitability and long-term relationships.
- Coordinate events operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of government events and bookings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry demands.
- Track sales performance against targets adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Participate in high-level meetings and events relevant to government markets to promote our services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure every government client has a seamless experience.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of luxury hospitality trends and a strategic results-focused approach to identifying opportunities that drive revenue growth in the government sector.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales account management or business development with at least 3 years focused on government accounts or the GCC region.
- Experience working in a global work environment is essential.
- Prior pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience and established network within government and/or GCC-based entities, diplomatic missions, and other relevant organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of government protocols, processes, and decision-making structures within the GCC region.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with high-level stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
- Fluency in English is required with proficiency in Arabic being a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry specifically luxury hotels and event management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
